Did you know? Our family business has evolved over the years, but one thing has always remained the same – the Hickton family's commitment to caring for local families.

Originally established as J.E.W. Hickton & Sons, the business was renamed Trevor E. W. Hickton Limited when the late Trevor Hickton took over from his father, Bill, in 2000, and Trevor took the business Limited.

As the next generation – Ross, Greg and Jodie – joined the business, it was felt that our name should better reflect who we are today. That's why we became Hickton Family Funeral Directors – a name that represents a genuine family business, with generations of the Hickton family working together to support families through life's most difficult times.

We thought we'd share a few photographs showing how our signage has changed over the years, celebrating both our history and the journey we've taken to where we are today.
