• Gait assessment (including ridden assessment if appropriate)
• Static evaluation
• Defined acupuncture points associated with specific conditions
• Trigger-point led point selection
• Experience of what has worked (and what hasn’t worked!) on any similar previous cases

🫣 Here’s my controversial opinion… disorganised clinical kit makes me feel 🤢

👩‍⚕️ Knowing that my kit fully stocked and well organised is absolutely vital… I need to know I can easily access all the different types of needles I carry in order that I can tackle each problem area precisely and appropriately.

Here comes another busy week- and I cannot wait 🙌

➡️ The answer is C … and here’s why ⬇️

💚 Most horses I treat require attention in various parts of their body rather than just one area

👩‍⚕️ Each muscle and plane of fascia have different depths so I usually end up using a wide range of needle lengths for each individual, depending on exactly which structures I am targeting with acupuncture 🪄

💥 There’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to horses, so I am always equipped with a wide range of needles - which allows me to treat the specific needs of every horse as an individual 💚
