What a fantastic way to kick off the World Cup season here at Brook Court!

Yesterday we were joined Kidderminster Harriers FC who brought along their Nationals Trophy and the wonderful pupils from Comberton Primary School. The experience was amazing and everyone had such a wonderful day!

A huge thank you to the Harriers and Comberton Primary for bringing such joy, energy, and community spirit into our home. We’re cheering you on and can’t wait for more visits and celebrations ahead.

We had a lovely visit from Ukes on the Edge today as we celebrated Hazel's birthday! 🎉🎂
Hazel had a very special surprise for one of the performers. During a previous visit, he had performed "I Just Want to Be Your Teddy Bear" by Elvis Presley and mentioned that he didn't actually have a teddy bear of his own.
Not one to forget, Hazel asked a friend to knit him a teddy bear, which she proudly presented to him today. 🧸❤️
It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture, and it certainly brought plenty of smiles all round. Thank you, Hazel, for your kindness, and thank you to Ukes on the Edge for another wonderful performance!

⚽️❤️ We’re thrilled to share that Brook Court will be featured in the Kidderminster Harriers’ matchday programme for the new season — a partnership that means so much to our home and our community.

I had the pleasure of visiting the club a couple of weeks ago and meeting Paul, the General Manager, who gave me a wonderful tour and a real insight into the passion that drives the Harriers. It’s clear this is a club with heart, history, and a genuine commitment to its community — values we proudly share.

This is just the beginning, and we’re already looking forward to more collaborations, more connections, and more opportunities for our residents to feel part of something special.

Surrounded by friends, laughter, and plenty of cake, we marked nine wonderful decades of stories, wisdom, and unforgettable moments.

It was a privilege for our team and residents to come together and make their day feel as special as they are.
