What an incredible day we’ve had today at our Food Festival! It was bursting with flavour, laughter and togetherness — a true celebration for our residents, families, staff and wider community.

Myself (Carina) and Emma would like to say a huge thank you to our fabulous catering team, who poured so much time, effort and energy into creating the most delicious food. Every single one of you helped make today unforgettable.

A special shout‑out to:

• Ahmed and his amazing food truck serving a mouth‑watering selection of Middle Eastern treats
• Roxy for her Romanian dishes that were an absolute hit
• Paige for her colourful and refreshing fruity punch bowls
• Michelle who supported us and our residents from start to finish and helped bring our vision to life.

Your passion, creativity and teamwork shone through in every moment.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! It really was wonderful!

🛸 Doctor Who Day: A Time‑Travelling Triumph!

What an incredible day at Brook Court! Our Doctor Who event was a huge success, with the cinema filled to full capacity and buzzing with excitement from the moment the doors opened.

Nigel was absolutely fantastic — his 50 years of Doctor Who expertise and BBC stories had everyone captivated. Residents, families and local Whovians were completely drawn in, laughing, reminiscing and soaking up every behind‑the‑scenes secret he shared.

And of course…
The live Daleks and Cybermen were a total showstopper. The room erupted with joy, surprise and plenty of photos as these iconic characters came to life right in front of us.

The atmosphere was electric, the smiles were endless, and the sense of community was everything we hoped for. Events like this remind us how powerful shared experiences can be — especially when they bring generations together through something they love.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day unforgettable.
