Yesterday, we enjoyed a wonderful outing to The Waterfoul Sanctuary in Banbury.

Residents enjoyed a trip around the farm area to take a look at the birds, goats and emus and then ended the visit in "Cuddle Corner" where they were able to hold and stroke some of the small furry friends that live there. 🐇🐇🐇

Here at Lincroft Meadow, many of our residents love nothing more than an afternoon at a garden centre.

Our fabulous minibus driver, Sammie and our wonderful resident Kathleen are pictured here deep in conversation as they browsed the plants on a recent trip to Millets Farm Centre.

After a good look around the garden centre, they visited the farm and then finished off the outing with a well-deserved cuppa and slice of cake in the cafe.

Summer means sunshine, time in the garden, a refreshing drink and laughter shared in good company. ☀️

Last week here at Lincroft Meadow, we celebrated International Day of Friendship with some friendship-themed activities.

It was lovely to relax together with friends in our activities room either colouring, playing Scrabble, or completing word searches. All with a cuppa and a slice of cake, of course!

Today, Suzi, our Client Services Manager, had the opportunity to represent our homes and the Oxfordshire Dementia Action Alliance at the Dementia Oxfordshire Summer Fair in Bicester.

Despite the heatwave, there was a great turnout. Lots of local people came along to find out more about local services and obtain some valuable advice and support.
