Kin had an extra reason to celebrate during our World Cup sweepstake after drawing both Spain and Argentina - what incredible luck! 🍀⚽

A huge well done to Kim, and thank you to everyone who took part and made it such a fun event. It's always lovely to see the team getting involved, having a laugh and enjoying a bit of friendly competition together.

We are delighted that all the proceeds from the sweepstake were donated to our Resident's Fund, helping us provide extra activities, treats and special experiences for the people who call our home their home. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported such a great cause. 💖

Earlier this month, we were delighted to hold another successful Resident's and relative's meeting.

These meetings provide a valuable opportunity for residents and their loved ones to come together, share information, ask questions and provide feedback about the care and support we provide. They also allow us to discuss future plans, improvements within the home, and any ideas that help us to continue delivering the highest standard of person-centred care.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion. Your feedback is incredibly important to us and helps us ensure our home continues to be a welcoming, safe and happy place for all.

Last week our residents enjoyed a fun afternoon of friendly competition with indoor skittles and bean bag throwing. There was plenty of laughter, cheering and healthy competitive spirit as everyone tried their best to score the highest points.

Activities like these are a great way to keep active, encourage social interaction and, most importantly, have lots of fun together. Well done to everyone who took part! 👏😊

So far this month we have had the pleasure of celebrating several birthdays with our residents.

Our fantastic kitchen team made each birthday extra special by baking a beautiful homemade cake for every birthday resident, helping create some lovely celebrations and happy memories.

The excitement of the World Cup has arrived in our home ⚽🏆

Our residents have been enjoying the start of the tournament and are now getting ready to cheer on England in their match against the Democratic Republic of Congo on Wednesday. 🎉

To show their support, residents have been busy making their own flags and they are looking forward to watching the game together. Fingers crossed for an England win!!! 🤞⚽
