🌊 Camper van adventures await! 🌊

From tomorrow until Monday, my lovely sister Claire and I are swapping the soap kitchen for sea air as we head off on a little camper van adventure to explore the beautiful East Neuk of Fife.

We’re hoping to squeeze in plenty of coastal walks, a few refreshing dips in the tidal pools, some blissful sessions in the seaside saunas, and lots of wandering through the charming fishing villages and coastal towns along the way. There’s something rather magical about a few days spent by the sea, especially when the forecast is looking kind! ☀️

If you’re planning to place an order, please note that any orders received between now and Monday will be posted out on Tuesday when I’m back.

And now for the important question… if you have any favourite places to visit between St Andrews and Elie, I’d love to hear them! Hidden gems, cafés, walks, beaches, viewpoints, bookshops, bakeries… all recommendations are very welcome. Pop them in the comments below. 👇

☀️ Sunshine yes, melted products no! ☀️

Scotland is certainly putting on a show this week, and while I’m absolutely loving the sunshine, some of my products aren’t quite as enthusiastic about the heat!

To make sure your orders arrive in perfect condition, I’ll be pausing postage for the next couple of days. After all, nobody wants to open their parcel and discover a jar of melted body butter that’s had a little too much summer fun. 🌞

I’ll also be taking a few days off for a long weekend and will be away from Friday through to Monday, so the next posting day will be Tuesday next week.

Thank you for your understanding. I’d much rather your goodies arrive safely than risk them spending a little too long baking in a delivery van.

In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful weather, stay cool, and make the most of the sunshine while it lasts! ☀️💛 xXx

☀️ Happy Summer Solstice! Did you make the most of this beautiful day? ☀️

What an absolutely glorious solstice it’s been! Blue skies, warm sunshine, and the perfect excuse for my sister Claire and I to head off on an adventure.

We made our way over to Arrochar and tackled the Glen Loin Loop, following the valley up to Sloy Dam before winding our way back through the forest. Over 17 kilometres of walking, plenty of fresh air, stunning scenery, and lots of chat putting the world to rights along the way! 🥾🌿

Of course, we weren’t alone. Claire’s gorgeous dog Sophie joined us and kept us company throughout the trek.

Days like this are good for the soul and a wonderful reminder to slow down, connect with nature, and appreciate the simple things.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Summer Solstice too, however you’ve chosen to celebrate it. I’ll be back in the soap kitchen tomorrow, refreshed and ready for another busy week creating your favourite natural skincare goodies. 🌙✨ xXx

That's me all set up and ready to welcome you at the Handmade in Ayr Summer Solstice Market at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway! We're here today 5.30 - 8.30pm.

🌿✨ New Arrival Alert! ✨🌿

Sometimes the perfect accessory comes along, and these beautiful new soap dishes are exactly that!

I’ve just taken delivery of a gorgeous batch of handmade soap dishes from my good friend Zoe D Ceramics, who creates them up in Elgin in the northeast of Scotland. Not only are they the perfect size for my soap bars, but they’re also wonderfully practical too. The drainage holes in the bottom help excess water escape, keeping your soap bars dry, hard, and lasting longer between uses.

And can we take a moment to appreciate that beautiful colour? It feels like summer captured in a soap dish! ☀️💚

These lovely dishes are available now on the website for £16 each, but if past experience is anything to go by, they won’t be around for long.

✨ Celebrate the Summer Solstice with me this Saturday! ✨

If you’re looking for a magical evening out, then make sure you pop along to the Handmade in Ayr Summer Solstice Market at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway this Saturday evening.

You’ll find me there with all your favourite Surya Luna Naturals products, alongside a wonderful selection of talented artisan makers inside the venue. Outside, there will also be a fantastic food and drink market, making it the perfect way to spend a summer evening.

The market runs from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, and with the forecast currently looking promising, it’s shaping up to be a lovely event. I attended last year and it was absolutely buzzing with visitors, great conversations, and a wonderful atmosphere.

✨🌿 What a magical weekend it’s been! 🌿✨

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Surya Luna Naturals stall at the Whispering Woods Fayre at Tir na nOg over the weekend.

It was such a pleasure to meet so many lovely people and spend time chatting about all things natural skincare. Whether you were looking for something to soothe sensitive skin, treat yourself to a little self-care, or simply curious about what I do, I loved every conversation.

Today’s atmosphere was especially wonderful. The sunshine was glorious, the woodland setting was beautiful, and the whole event had such a relaxed, chilled-out vibe. It was one of those days that leaves you feeling happy and grateful.

I’d also like to say a huge thank you to all of my fellow stallholders. It was lovely getting to know you, hearing about your businesses, and sharing plenty of chats and laughs throughout the weekend.

I’m safely back home now, Merlin the Mini has been unpacked, and I’m currently enjoying something to eat before settling down for a quiet evening.

Tomorrow morning I’ll be back in the soap kitchen for a short while to get all of your lovely web orders packed and posted. After that, I’m treating myself to a well-earned day off before diving back into making more natural skincare goodies.
