Are you actually being coached?
Or are you just being supervised whilst exercising?
There's a big difference.
Coaching isn't showing you an exercise then leaving you to it.
It's watching how YOU move.
Correcting things in real time.
Choosing the right exercises for you.
Making sure you're lifting enough.
Knowing when to push you.
And knowing when not to.
Because sometimes you've had a s**t week.
You're stressed.
You're tired.
You've got a ni**le that's playing up.
Training is stress too.
A good coach recognises that and adapts the session in front of you.
Maybe we change the exercise.
Maybe we change the weight.
Maybe today isn't the day to push.
That's why a coach needs a big enough toolkit to meet you where you're at on the day.
Because you can't always feel what you're doing wrong.
And you shouldn't need to know how to adapt your own training.
That's our job.
The goal isn't to leave you lying on the floor in a puddle of sweat.
It's to make you better.
Stronger.
Moving better.
More capable.
Anyone can make you tired.
That's not the same as making you better.
At Hybrid, we actually coach.
And it's something we take ridiculously seriously.
