Peacefully at hospital Gerard (Gerry) R.I.P, beloved son of the late Willie and Teresa McIlwaine and devoted brother of Mary (McKillen), Con and the late John, loving brother-in-law of Seamus and Rosaline.
Wake will commence on Sunday at his late residence 79 Glenkeen Road, Aghadowey at 4pm – 9pm and on Monday from 12pm to 9pm. Family time only on Tuesday morning.

𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙣, 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙮

When Sharon’s only child Stacey R.I.P. died, the warm and genuine sympathy and support received from so many people was a great consolation and comfort to her and all the family circle. This helped us immensely through a very sad time.

We would like to thanks the emergency services who attended the house at the time of her death. Sincere thanks to Fr Chris McDermott for their spiritual support, guidance, prayers and for celebrating the funeral Mass and graveside service. To all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the house, those who messaged, sent cards, gave donations and attended the funeral, we are truly thankful.

Thanks to the Church Sacristans, to Una McGill for the beautiful music, to Malachy Rafferty helped steward the route and to Wishy Drain for preparing Stacey’s resting place.

Finally, we wish to convey our thanks to Dempsey Funeral Directors Kilrea especially Brian and Mairead for all their support and professionalism in carrying out the funeral arrangements and for their continued support.

Trusting this notice will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The month's mind Mass for Stacey will be held on Saturday 9th May in St Annes Oratory, Kilrea at 7pm. The Dillon, Quinn and Agnew Families, Kilrea and Dunloy.

The sons, Robert and Michael and family circle of the late Robert (Bob) Howard. R.I.P wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt thanks.

A special word of thanks to the emergency services for their help and care when attending the house at the time of Peter’s death.
Sincere thanks to Fr Rooney P.P. of Portglenone for his support and use of the chapel, Fr Pat O’Hagan P.P. of Bellaghy for his spiritual support, guidance and prayers at the time of Peter’s death and for celebrating a fitting Requiem Mass for his life, and to Fr Luke McWilliams P.P of Rasharkin for his committal prayers at Peter’s resting place.

The family wish to thank all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the house and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time especially those who helped them set up for the wake, helped with car parking and serving refreshments at the home, those who messaged, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, gave donations and to those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful. They would also like to thank all of Peter’s close friends for their presence and support at such a difficult time for them.

Thanks to Michelle and Sean Conaghan for the beautiful music, the sacristan John Cushnahan, and to those who helped steward the traffic at the Church and along the route of the funeral, to Rasharkin parish for the use of the hall, to Sean McLaughlin for providing the refreshments after the funeral and to Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.

Finally sincere thanks to Dempsey Funeral Directors for the dignified professional and compassionate manner in which they carried out all aspects of the funeral arrangements. Heartful thanks to Mairead who was a constant support for Una during this difficult time.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all. The months mind Mass for Peter will be celebrated on Sunday 3rd May 2026 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Rasharkin.
