✨ A little glimpse into today’s treatment ✨

My client was originally booked in for a full body massage today, but due to a kidney infection, we adjusted the treatment to suit her needs and opted for a relaxing holistic facial followed by a soothing scalp massage instead. 🤍

At Aura by Laura, treatments are always tailored to you and how you’re feeling on the day. Sometimes your body just needs something a little different. 🌿

It’s so hard to fit a full 45-minute treatment into a 1-minute video, but here’s just a little snippet of today’s treatment. ✨

I’m Laura, the face behind Aura by Laura.

I created Aura because I wanted to create the kind of space I think so many of us need — somewhere you can come in after a rubbish week, switch off for an hour and just breathe.

Somewhere you don’t need to look a certain way, apologise for your body, shave your legs, wear makeup or have your life together. 😂

You can just come as you are.

I’m all about holistic wellbeing, feeling comfortable in your own skin and taking a little bit of time for yourself — because we spend so much time looking after everyone else that it’s easy to forget about ourselves.

I’ve spent years working in care and I’ve always loved looking after people. I’m now following my passion for holistic therapy and building something of my own — a calm, welcoming space where you can feel genuinely looked after.

And although Aura has a big focus on creating a comfortable space for women, men are absolutely welcome too. 🤍

Hello everyone! 😃

I’ve been a little quiet on here over the summer, but I’ve been busy working on some very exciting things behind the scenes! ☺️

There are a few changes coming over the next few weeks, including some further training to advance my skills and allow me to offer even more treatments in the future. 😃

And I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be working in my hometown of Kilwinning from two weeks’ time! 🥰

I’ll get my dates, times and treatment availability posted as soon as I have everything organised.

I’m so excited to start this new chapter and journey, and I’m really looking forward to welcoming some familiar faces as well as meeting lots of new clients. ❤️

This morning I tried white sage and palo santo for the first time and really loved the experience ☺️. It felt grounding, calming, and like a quiet release of what no longer serves me from this year. Stepping into the new year with strength, renewal, and an open heart for fresh beginnings 🤍🌿
