🚴 Two hospitals, one challenge, one amazing cause! 🚴

On 25 September 2026, a team of colleagues, partners and supporters connected to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn and James Paget University Hospital will be getting on their bikes and cycling for charity.

They're raising funds for QEHKL Charity and James Paget Charity, helping to provide extra support for patients, visitors and staff.

🌟 Happy International Day of Charity!

Today we're celebrating all the incredible people who have supported QEHKL Charity over the past year, including local sculptor Billy Bickell, who transformed a tree from the Sandringham Estate into a beautiful totem pole for our Children's Day Surgery Unit. Inspired by his daughter's care at The QEH, the sculpture brings colour, joy and comfort to young patients and their families.

Whether you've donated, fundraised, volunteered, shared our stories or gifted your time and talents, thank you. Your generosity helps create brighter experiences for patients every single day.

💎 As International Day of Charity approaches, we're celebrating the remarkable generosity of David and Caroline Drew.

To mark their 60th wedding anniversary, they asked family and friends to donate to The QEH's Cancer Care and Treatment Unit instead of giving gifts, raising more than £500 to support cancer patients. Their kindness is helping improve wellbeing for people living with and beyond cancer.

💜 International Day of Charity reminds us that every act of kindness can help families through life's most challenging moments.

This year, we launched our Never Far Away Appeal, helping families stay connected with babies receiving care in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Funds raised support the vCreate service, allowing parents and loved ones to receive precious updates, photos and videos when they cannot be at the bedside.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported this appeal and helped keep families connected when it matters most.
