🙏 A Special Assumption Weekend in Walsingham 🙏

Another fantastic weekend for the NEMS team, providing medical cover in Walsingham for the celebrations of the Assumption of Our Lady across both the Anglican Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham and the Roman Catholic National Shrine & Basilica. 🚑⛪

For NEMS, Walsingham has become a very familiar place, and it’s always a pleasure working alongside the fantastic Shrine teams, stewards, clergy and volunteers who keep these busy pilgrimage weekends running so smoothly.

Two Shrines, plenty of pilgrims, a very special weekend and another one safely covered by the NEMS team. 💛💚🚑

Thank you once again to everyone at Walsingham for having us and for the continued warm welcome — always a pleasure to be part of these special occasions.

And just like that, Day 2 is complete and our final Endurance GB ride at Rushford for 2026 is done! 🐴🌳

Another cracking weekend providing medical cover for the riders, officials, volunteers and everyone behind the scenes who keeps these endurance rides running smoothly.

A massive thank you to the organisers and the whole team for once again making us feel so welcome. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Rushford rides this year – plenty of horses, plenty of miles and plenty of good banter along the way! 😄🐎

That’s Rushford done and dusted until next year… we’ll see you all again in 2027! 👋🚑🐴

What a cracking day! 🌈☀️

Today the NEMS team have been out providing medical cover at Pride on the Park in King’s Lynn, supporting everyone enjoying a fantastic day of celebration, entertainment and community spirit. 🚑💙

Plenty of colour, plenty of smiles and a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day! 🌈🎶🙌

A massive thank you to the organisers and everyone involved for having us along and for putting together such a welcoming event right here in King’s Lynn.

We’re always proud to be behind the scenes helping keep events safe although with all the colours today, our yellow ambulance almost blended in! 😂🚑🌈

🐎🚑 BACK AT RUSHFORD – TWO DAYS OF ENDURANCE ACTION! 🚑🐎

The NEMS team are back at Rushford Estate this weekend, providing two full days of medical cover for another fantastic Endurance GB horse endurance ride! 🐴🌳

Always a cracking event to be part of, with riders and horses heading out across some beautiful countryside and putting plenty of miles under their hooves! 💪🐎

We’ll be on site throughout the weekend, keeping a watchful eye over riders, officials, volunteers and everyone involved.

Great to be back working alongside the brilliant Thetford Endurance Ride team / EGB team once again – here’s to a safe, enjoyable weekend and hopefully plenty of sunshine! ☀️🤞

🚑 CRAFTS, CROWDS & A CRACKING DAY IN BURNHAM MARKET! ☀️🛍️

What an absolute cracking day we’ve had today providing medical cover at the Burnham Market Craft Fair! 💛🚑

And it wasn’t just any year — 2026 marks the 50th Burnham Market Craft Fair! 🎉 The village greens were packed with over 100 local craft stalls, showcasing handmade goods from some incredibly talented local makers and artisans.

And when we say packed… it was JAM-PACKED! 😂🙌

Fantastic atmosphere, loads of people out enjoying themselves and plenty to see. We may have even accidentally done a bit of window shopping while keeping an eye on everyone… purely for operational reasons, obviously! 👀😂

A huge thank you to the organisers and volunteers for having Norfolk Event Medical Services along to keep everyone safe. Another brilliant Norfolk event and a pleasure to be part of it. ❤️

☁️🚑 DAY TWO AT CELEBRATE FESTIVAL 2026! 🚑☀️

Another cracking day for the NEMS team at CELEBRATE Festival, here at the beautiful Worth Abbey in West Sussex. ⛪🌳

After yesterday’s blazing sunshine, today has been slightly cloudier and we’re certainly not complaining! 😂☁️ Still warm, still plenty of summer weather about, but at least the sun has decided to give us a little break!

The festival is now properly in full swing, with families, activities, worship, music and a fantastic atmosphere across the site. 🙌🎶

For us, it’s another day doing what we do best keeping everyone safe, dealing with whatever comes our way and hopefully having a bit of a laugh along the way! 🚑💪

A massive thank you as always to the organisers and everyone involved with CELEBRATE for making the NEMS team feel so welcome. 💛

☀️🚑 FROM ONE FESTIVAL STRAIGHT TO ANOTHER… NEMS DOESN’T STOP! 🚑☀️

Today the Norfolk Event Medical Services team has arrived in beautiful West Sussex to begin providing medical cover for CELEBRATE Festival 2026 at Worth School, within the stunning grounds of Worth Abbey. ⛪🌳

It really is one festival to another at the moment, and 2026 is rapidly becoming our busiest year to date, with over 250 events to cover across the year! 😮🚑💨

From small community events and sporting fixtures to equestrian events, shows and major festivals, our fantastic NEMS team certainly gets some miles in! 💪

We’ll be here at CELEBRATE right through until Wednesday, looking after everyone enjoying several days of worship, family activities, children and youth programmes, music and plenty of community spirit.

This year’s theme is “Let There Be Light”… and judging by the weather, someone has taken that instruction VERY seriously! ☀️😂🔥

With the hot weather upon us, our festival prescription is simple:

💧 Keep drinking plenty of water
🧴 Get the sun cream on
🧢 Wear a hat
🌳 Find some shade when you can
🚑 And if you need us, come and say hello — preferably before you resemble a well-done sausage! 🌭😂

It’s fantastic to be back supporting the CELEBRATE team once again. A busy few days ahead, but we’re set up, stocked up and ready to go!

🌿☀️🚑 THAT’S A WRAP AT WELLNESS IN THE WILD 2026! 🚑☀️🌿

After three fantastic days, that’s the final day of Wellness in the Wild complete for the NEMS team! 💚

We’ve been here since Friday providing medical cover, and what an absolutely cracking weekend it’s been! 🙌

☀️ Beautiful weather
🌿 Stunning surroundings
🧘 Plenty of wellness and relaxation
🎶 Great atmosphere
👥 A brilliant turnout
😊 And some genuinely lovely people!

A HUGE thank you to the entire Wellness in the Wild organising team for having us back and for looking after our team throughout the weekend. 👏💚 It’s been an absolute pleasure working alongside such a friendly and well-organised bunch.

The sunshine certainly turned up for the occasion too! ☀️😎 Although after three days surrounded by yoga, meditation and relaxation, we’re slightly disappointed that none of it appears to have rubbed off on us… 😂🚑

Medical bags packed, ambulance loaded and another fantastic event ticked off! ✅

And just like that… Day 2 and the final day of the Ellingham Vintage Working Show is complete! ✅🙌

What a cracking weekend it’s been! ☀️🚜 Plenty of vintage machinery, working displays, engines rumbling away, fantastic crowds and that brilliant countryside show atmosphere that you just can’t beat! 😎🌾

The NEMS team have been on site across both days providing medical cover and keeping everyone safe while the tractors, machinery and everything else did the entertaining! 🚑😂

A huge thank you to the organisers for having us along and for putting together another fantastic weekend. 👏 Also, thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat, said hello or gave us a wave — it’s always appreciated! 💛

Two days completed, plenty of sunshine soaked up, probably several tonnes of dust brought home with us… and another successful event in the bag! 😂☀️🌾
