Our residents enjoyed a wonderfully uplifting day at the home! We kicked things off with some refreshing morning air before moving into a day of hand care and manicures. Everyone loved selecting their own vibrant nail colours. To top off a fantastic day, we then celebrated one of our lovely residents birthdays! 🌸🎂

This afternoon, our residents gathered in the lounge for a lively sing-along, featuring a playlist of their all-time favorite songs. We enjoyed a fantastic variety of music—from classic pub medleys and Dolly Parton to Kenny Rogers, Tom Jones, and Elvis. It was a wonderful afternoon full of smiles, nostalgia, and great music enjoyed by all!

This morning, we were delighted to welcome the amazing Debbie from Gratitude 43 to our home for a lovely arts and crafts session with our residents. 🎨✨

It was a wonderful morning filled with creativity, conversation and plenty of smiles. Our residents enjoyed taking part in the activities while enjoying tea, coffee and some of Kelly’s delicious homemade cakes. ☕🍰

Today was full of music, movement, and smiles! ☕🎶
We kicked off the morning relaxing with a hot cup of tea and coffee while listening to the wonderful Dame Shirley Bassey. Afterwards, the fantastic Take the Lead Dance joined us for some energetic armchair exercises and dances with our residents. As always, everyone had an absolute blast!

What a lively and lovely day here at the home! ✂️✨
Our amazing hairdresser stopped by to give residents a well-deserved makeover, leaving everyone feeling pampered and refreshed. While the styling was underway, we spent time enjoying some special one-on-one activities:
Arts & Crafts: Started a brand-new heart canvas featuring our residents' individual fingerprints.
Reminiscing & Reading: Shared stories, quiet moments, and favorite books together.
Fresh Air: Got outdoors to enjoy a bit of sunshine and movement.
We wrapped up the afternoon gathered in the activities room for a cozy screening of Singin' in the Rain. Heartwarming moments and big smiles all around! 🎬🌧️❤️

Our upstairs Sunflower Lounge was buzzing this afternoon for a fantastic social catch-up! It was wonderful to see so many residents gather together for a warm cup of tea or coffee paired with plenty of delicious sweet treats.
Music filled the air as we enjoyed a lively singalong—belting out classics from the Pub Medley, timeless favourites from Vera Lynn, and a little bit of Elvis to get everyone smiling! Between the songs, everyone settled in for a relaxed afternoon filled with colouring, knitting, and endless great conversation.
Thank you to everyone who joined in and made the afternoon so bright and cheerful! 🌻
