🌘 Did you know? 🌘

The last solar eclipse visible from the UK was just over a year ago, on 29 March 2025! 🇬🇧✨ It was a partial eclipse, with around 30–40% of the Sun covered at its peak.

But today’s eclipse is even more dramatic — on 12 August 2026, up to around 90–96% of the Sun will be obscured from parts of the UK, and it starts from 6:17 pm and ends at 8:06 pm 🌒☀️

And here’s a fun fact: the last total solar eclipse visible from the UK was way back in 1999. The next one won’t be until 2090! 😲

👓 Remember: never look directly at the Sun without proper solar eclipse eye protection.

Who else is setting an alarm so they don’t miss it? ⏰🌌

🌊☀️ Another Wonderful Day by the Seaside! ☀️🌊

Our residents enjoyed another fantastic day out in Hunstanton, making the most of the beautiful sunshine, fresh sea breeze, and wonderful company. 💙

There was nothing better than tucking into delicious fish and chips, enjoying a refreshing drink, watching the funfair rides, and taking in the lively seaside atmosphere. Laughter, smiles, and plenty of happy memories were shared throughout the day.

Days like these are what it's all about – getting out, enjoying new experiences, and creating special moments together.

Yesterday, we said a temporary goodbye to our wonderful Community Lead, Katie, as she finished work to begin her maternity leave.

Our amazing team organised a lovely surprise to celebrate this exciting milestone, making for a special send-off filled with smiles and mixed emotions. 💙

Katie, thank you for everything you do. We wish you all the very best as you prepare to welcome your baby boy into the world. Enjoy every precious moment with your growing family—we can’t wait to meet your little one and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
