Today was all about staying cool, protected and hydrated whilst enjoying the sun and good company in fancy hats. Ice lollies and juices where the order of the day.

Apologies for being a little quiet on here over the last few weeks – we’ve certainly been keeping busy! 💙

We’ve enjoyed a wonderful few weeks filled with meaningful activities and special moments. We were delighted to welcome EYTCC for a fantastic afternoon of reminiscing, and we even managed to dodge the rain! ☔🌤️

Together, we also took time to mark D-Day, reflecting on its importance and sharing memories and stories.

One of our recent highlights was celebrating a very special 70th birthday with a fantastic Neil Diamond tribute! 🎤🎉 It was a wonderful afternoon of singing, dancing, and celebrating together, creating memories that will last for years to come.

Our creative side has been shining too, with residents making colourful ribbons to celebrate Pride Month 🌈 and beautiful lavender posies, filling the home with their wonderful fragrance. Alongside these, we’ve been enjoying plenty of our favourite day-to-day activities, laughter, and companionship.

We’re now looking forward to welcoming Terry McGeary this Friday for what promises to be another fantastic afternoon of entertainment! 🎶
