Low confidence. You don't have to feel ready to start

Confidence isn't something you find before you begin.

It's something you build — by beginning anyway, even when it feels scary.

So many people are waiting to feel ready before:
→ Asking for the promotion
→ Starting the thing they've been dreaming about
→ Reaching out for support
→ Choosing themselves

Readiness is a myth. Courage is the decision to move despite the doubt.

If you've been waiting to feel ready to reach out and start working on your confidence — consider this your sign.

My door is open.

Big life changes can feel like loss — even the good ones.

Buying a house, getting married, having children, getting a promotion, changing jobs, retiring, children leaving home just to name a few.

These are things we're told to celebrate. And we do — genuinely.

But grief and joy can exist at the same time.

Because every transition means leaving something behind — a version of yourself, a chapter, a life that was familiar.

If you're in the middle of a big change and feeling more emotional than you expected — that's not weakness. That's being human.

I support people through all kinds of life transitions. If you'd like to talk, I'm here.

Signs you're burning out (not just tired)

You're not just tired.

There's a difference between needing a good night's sleep — and running on empty for months.

Here are some signs burnout might be building:

❌ You dread Mondays from Friday afternoon
❌ Small tasks feel overwhelming
❌ You've lost interest in things you used to enjoy
❌ You feel detached, numb, or just going through the motions
❌ You're exhausted even after a full night's sleep

Burnout isn't a weakness. It's what happens when we give too much for too long without enough support.

If any of these resonate — you don't have to push through alone.

Feel free to reach out.

The inner critic isn't telling the truth

That voice that says you're not good enough?

It's deceiving you.

The inner critic developed to keep you safe — to stop you from taking risks that might lead to rejection or failure.

But somewhere along the way, it stopped being helpful and started being cruel.

"You're not smart enough."
"Who do you think you are?"
"Everyone else has it figured out except you."

The loudest inner critic often belongs to the most capable, compassionate people in the room.

You are not your inner critic. And you can learn to turn its volume down.

If this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.

It's Okay Not to Be Okay All of the Time 💙

We all have days when we smile on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. Life isn't meant to be perfect, and neither are we.

It's okay to have bad days. It's okay to feel tired, lost, anxious, or emotional. You don't have to have everything figured out, and you don't have to pretend you're fine just to make others comfortable.

Give yourself the same kindness and patience that you so freely give to others. Rest when you need to. Reach out when things feel heavy. Healing isn't a straight line, and every small step forward still counts.

Remember: asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You are never alone, and brighter days will come.

Be gentle with yourself. You're doing the best you can with what you have today, and that's okay. ❤️

💡 Tiny Tip: On difficult days, don't aim to do everything. Choose just one small thing—make a cup of tea, have a shower, step outside for five minutes, or drink a glass of water. Small steps are still progress.

Whatever you're going through, you don't have to face it alone. I'm here to support you in finding a way forward, at a pace that feels right for you.

💙 If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to hear from you.

🌿 Things to Do, Especially If You're Feeling Down 💙

When life feels heavy, it's often the little things that can help us feel more grounded. You don't have to do everything—just choose one small step today.

✨ Spend time in nature – Take a walk in the park, sit in your garden, or simply enjoy some fresh air.

💬 Talk to a friend – Sharing how you're feeling with someone you trust can make a world of difference.

🎨 Paint or draw – Don't worry about creating a masterpiece. Just let your feelings flow onto the page.

🌬️ Do a mindful breathing session – A few slow, deep breaths can help calm your mind and body.

📖 Write in your journal – Put your thoughts on paper without judging them. Sometimes writing things down can make them feel more manageable.

🧘 Do some yoga or light exercise – Gentle movement can help lift your mood and release tension.

💡 Tip: Try the 4-4-6 breathing technique. Breathe in gently through your nose for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 4 seconds, then breathe out slowly through your mouth for 6 seconds. Repeat this 5 times and notice how your body begins to relax.

Remember, healing doesn't happen all at once. Be kind to yourself and celebrate even the smallest steps forward. 💙

Which one will you try today?

Whatever you're going through, you don't have to face it alone. I'm here to support you in finding a way forward, at a pace that feels right for you.

💙 If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to hear from you.

🌟 Believe in Yourself

It's easy to focus on the things we think we can't do, especially when life feels overwhelming. But every challenge you've faced has helped shape the strength you carry today.

Remember, confidence doesn't mean never feeling afraid—it means believing in yourself even when things feel uncertain. Every small step you take, no matter how insignificant it may seem, is a step forward.

Be patient with yourself. Celebrate your progress, not just your achievements. You are learning, growing, and becoming stronger every day.

✨ You are strong.
✨ You are capable.
✨ You are worthy of believing in yourself.

💡 Tip: When self-doubt creeps in, ask yourself, "What would I say to a friend who felt this way?" Then offer yourself that same kindness and encouragement. We are often much more compassionate towards others than we are towards ourselves.

If self-doubt has been holding you back, you don't have to work through it alone. Together, we can build your confidence, explore what's keeping you stuck, and help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

💙 Ready to take the first step?

🌿 When Life Feels Overwhelming

Sometimes it's not what's happening inside us that's causing the stress—it's everything happening around us.

Work pressures, financial worries, family responsibilities, relationship difficulties, health concerns, caring for others, or the constant demands of everyday life can all leave us feeling emotionally drained.

When external stress builds up, it's easy to feel like you're constantly firefighting, leaving little time to look after yourself.

Remember, you don't have to carry everything on your own. It's okay to pause. It's okay to set boundaries. It's okay to ask for help.

💡 Tip: When everything feels overwhelming, ask yourself:
"What is within my control today?"

Write down two columns:
✔️ Things I can control.
❌ Things I can't control.

Then choose just one small action from your "can control" list. Focusing your energy where you have influence can help reduce feelings of overwhelm and create a greater sense of calm.

If external pressures have been affecting your wellbeing, you don't have to face them alone. Together, we can explore what's contributing to your stress, develop healthy coping strategies, and help you find a way forward that feels manageable.

💙 If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to hear from you.
