We're delighted to reveal that the final winner of our 2026 Community Awards is Lambwath Lions ARLFC.

Lambwath Lions has created a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where young people of all backgrounds and abilities can thrive. Thanks to the dedication of its volunteers, coaches and families, the club continues to grow, providing opportunities for more children to enjoy rugby league, build confidence and feel part of a supportive community.

Huge congratulations to everyone at Lambwath Lions. We're looking forward to presenting you with your award on 22 August.

Leo was amazing in tonight’s games. He ran the ball hard and found space a few times too score some tries. He was alert in defence and got some brilliant tags. Well done mate keep improving.

George did very well today. He used his own knowledge of the game to make passes when needed. He scored try after try and helped his teammates score some trys aswel. His awareness on the field is amazing keep doing what your doing George fantastic rugby 👏

🏆 Player of the Match – Cooper 🏆

Tonight was a big one for Cooper. In the first game, he played for the opposition and was outstanding, grabbing tags and making some brilliant runs.

For the second and third games, he was back with the Lions and really took charge. From organising his teammates to get back, playing at ho**er, and making powerful runs when he spotted the opportunity, he showed what an all-round player he is.

A fantastic performance tonight, Cooper. Keep working hard and keep enjoying your rugby. We’re all proud of you.

Our U6s took to the field today at half-time at Hull fc what a brilliant performance they put in! 👏

They all played with huge smiles, confidence, and enthusiasm, making everyone proud. It was an amazing experience for the players and one they’ll remember for a long time.
