CLEAR. CLEANSE. RESET.
When we work closely with another person, particularly through hands on / over therapies, there can be a real sense of connection.
As a holistic therapist, I believe it’s important to consciously close that connection and clear my own energetic space before welcoming another client.
For me, that might mean taking a moment to breathe, ground myself, consciously release any energy that isn’t mine and reset before the next person arrives.
It’s about making sure I’m not carrying the previous client's experience into the next treatment.
But there is another side to this that is equally important, and this one isn’t about energy.
It’s Infection Control.
With hands on therapies, our hands come into contact with clients, skin, oils, products and surfaces.
Good hand hygiene between clients is essential to reduce the risk of transferring microorganisms from one person to another.
Holistic therapy does not mean compromising on hygiene or professional standards.
For me, good practice is about both:
✨ Clearing the energetic space and yourself
✨️Cleaning the physical space
✨️Grounding and resetting myself
✨️Being fully present for the person in front of me
Every client deserves to walk into a space that feels clean, safe, grounded and completely theirs.
Clear. Cleanse. Reset. Begin again. 💜
