City Health Care Partnership CIC have obligations to ensure competence and safety and therefore the volunteer will be required to undertake statutory and mandatory training to undertake this role.

🌟Volunteer Opportunity: Help Us Make Healthcare More Accessible 🌟

Do you have an interest in Makaton and a passion for helping others communicate more effectively?

The CHCP Accessible Information and Reasonable Adjustment team is looking for a Makaton Support Volunteer to help make healthcare services ore accessible for people who face health inequalities.

💙What you'll gain:
✅Makaton Training
✅Opportunity to gain a Makaton Training Qualification
✅Ongoing support from a Lead Makaton Tutor
✅Regular Makaton Updates
✅Valuable experience supporting communication in health care settings

💙What you'll do:
* Support the delivery of Makaton training across CHCP services
* Prepare training materials and resources
* Gather feedback from training sessions
* Assist with bespoke training tailored to specific services
* Help improve communication and accessibility for patients

🕒Time Commitment - Up to half a day, twice per month (depending on service need)

✅DBS Clearance required

This rewarding role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, is passionate about inclusive communication, and wants to make a real difference within their local community.

🌟VOLUNTEERS WANTED!🌟

Are you looking to give back to your local community and make a difference in the lives of older people?

CHCP Volunteers is looking for caring, friendly and reliable people to join our team, and support the Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre.

The Role will consist of:

💙Meet and Greet new people and gain valuable experience
💙Flexible, ad hoc opportunities available
💙Full statutory and mandatory training provided

🕒Available hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm

Whether you can spare a few hours occasionally or would like to volunteer more regularly we would love to hear from you!
