'The Independent' today reported the findings of an ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) investigation after complaints were received in relation to misleading advertising from an online direct cremation company leading to them issuing a ban and prohibiting them from broadcasting the advert. The advert in question, viewers argued that it implied an 'in person' service was included contrary to the nature of a direct cremation.
