What a gorgeous day we’ve had today! ☀️💛

We started our morning with a drive out before visiting the farm, where the children got to see lots of animals including chickens, goats, pigs and horses 🐔🐐🐷🐴. There were lots of animal noises, pointing, chatting and excitement along the way!

We then headed over to Little Swiss for a lovely walk and some fresh air 🌳. We found the perfect spot around the lake for our picnic, played some football ⚽️ and, of course, cooled down with some yummy ice lollies 🍦☀️.

We definitely made the most of the beautiful weather, and even managed to squeeze in another stop on the way home! We visited the park for some fun on the swings and slides 🛝 before heading back ready to see our families after a very busy day. 🥰

Being able to spend a summer day with my little one while also doing a job that I absolutely love is everything…Watching him play, help and interact so beautifully with the younger children was such a lovely moment for me. 🥹💙 I love seeing the little ones looking up to him, shouting of him and watching those friendships grow.

Farm animals, walks, football, picnics, ice lollies, parks and lots of happy little faces - summer days like this are what Kingswood Tiny Tots is all about! 🌈☀️🐷⚽️🛝💛

🌈 What a wonderful week we've had at Kingswood Tiny Tots! 🌈

As we finish our final week before the summer break, we've made so many wonderful memories together through play, exploration and adventure. 💙

This week has been filled with exciting opportunities for learning. We enjoyed a visit to East Park, where we saw lots of animals, practised our animal noises and even got chased by some cheeky geese! 🦆😂 The children loved observing the different animals and talking about what they could see.

We also visited The Deep, where the children were fascinated by the colourful fish and incredible sea creatures. They enjoyed watching them swim, talking about what they noticed and even touching the ice wall! 🐠🦈❄️

Our adventures have also had plenty of walking, climbing and exploring, sharing experiences and building confidence. We also continued to develop our understanding of counting, shapes, colours and objects and tasting yummy fruits! 🟡🍉 🔢

But the highlight of my week had to be having my little boy join us. ❤️ Being able to spend quality time with him while watching him play, laugh and interact so beautifully with the other children made my journey of opening Kingswood Tiny Tots even more special. Those are the moments that remind me exactly why I started this adventure, and I couldn't be prouder.

As we now head into our summer break, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful families for your support during my very first few weeks. It has been an amazing start to the Kingswood Tiny Tots journey, and I can't wait to welcome everyone back after the holidays for even more fun, learning and adventures together. ☀️

🌈 This Week at Kingswood Tiny Tots 🌈

We've had another lovely week together, full of fun, laughter and lots of learning through play.

We've enjoyed plenty of time outdoors with walks around the local area, trips to the park, football and even practising making bubbles of all different sizes. The children loved seeing which bubbles were the biggest! 🫧⚽🌳

Healthy eating has been a big focus too. We've enjoyed lots of healthy snacks and were all very brave trying new fruits, including mango…although I don't think it's going to be a favourite with the boys anytime soon! 🤣🥭

This week we've also been to our music and dance class, enjoyed playgroup, explored sand and water play, and visited the farm again where we've been learning about different animals and practising our animal noises. 🐄🐑🎶

One of the biggest highlights has definitely been seeing the “digger men" every day. Watching the machines at work has been fascinating and the boys were so excited when they got a honk of the horn and lots of thumbs up from the workers! 🚜👷

At the Hub we've been busy exploring different toys, practising sharing and taking turns, and challenging ourselves to see how high we can count. We've also started building confidence with potty training, celebrating every little success along the way. ⭐

Today we finished the week with a lovely Teddy Bear Picnic at the park with some of our new friends, but, after a busy morning the boys were ready for a little quiet time before the school run.

This week our activities have supported all areas of the EYFS through natural play:
🩵 Communication & Language – chatting, singing and learning new words.
💚 Physical Development – walking, football, dancing and climbing.
💛 Personal, Social & Emotional Development – making friends, sharing, taking turns and building confidence.
🧡 Literacy – listening, joining in with songs and developing communication.
💜 Mathematics – counting together and comparing bubble sizes.
💙 Understanding the World – visiting the farm, watching the diggers and exploring nature.
🩷 Expressive Arts & Design – music, dancing, imaginative play and sensory activities.

It's been another week full of smiles, new experiences and wonderful memories. Thank you for letting me be part of your little ones' journey. 💙🌈

🌈 Our First Week Complete!🌈

What an incredible first week we've had at Kingswood Tiny Tots Childminding!💙

A huge thank you to all of the wonderful parents for trusting me to be part of your little one's journey. It means so much that you've chosen me to help nurture, support and encourage your children as they learn and grow.

This week has been filled with smiles, laughter, new friendships and lots of exciting experiences. Together we've explored activities that support all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including:

We've had an amazing first week of adventures, enjoying dance class, meeting new friends , going to playgroup, exploring some local parks, visiting The Deep, and even spending time seeing and learning about different animals at the farm. Every outing has provided opportunities for the children to develop confidence, curiosity, communication skills and a love of learning through play.

From creative play and outdoor adventures to exploring new environments and building confidence, every day has been full of fun, learning and precious moments.

I am so proud of how well each of the children has settled in already, and I can't wait to see what the coming weeks bring.
