Wish We Could Fly Away!

With the Telford Balloon Fiesta taking place this weekend, residents at Kington Court decided to bring a little bit of the magic to them!

Everyone enjoyed getting creative and making their own hot air balloons, before blowing them up and letting them go. It brought back some lovely childhood memories.

A Garden in a Tin

Residents at Kington Court have been getting creative with their green fingers, making their very own gardens in a tin!

The session was all about creativity, with everyone getting involved and putting their own ideas into their little gardens. The activity is also part of an upcoming Herefordshire Growing Point competition in October, so there’s a little friendly competition to look forward to too!

A Little Taste of Spain

Residents at Kington Court enjoyed a Spanish-themed day, with Spanish music, memories of holidays and plenty of dancing.

Gloria, Kay and the other residents enjoyed getting involved, with pan con tomate and olives to add a little taste of Spain.

As one resident said, “Spanish music makes me want to dance.”

A lovely way to enjoy a different culture, share memories and spend time together.

On Friday, our residents enjoyed a lovely relaxation day, with the opportunity to soak their feet and enjoy a little pampering.

Several residents took part and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing foot spa session, with plenty of smiles and time to unwind.

Wellness, Laughter and a Little Bit of Fun!

Residents at Kington Court joined homes from across Rotherwood for another Live Wellness session, with quizzes, dressing up and plenty of fun along the way.

This time, residents were encouraged to wear whatever made them feel happy, from nightwear to their brightest clothes, while enjoying some favourite treats including Jaffa Cakes, Welsh cakes and pink wafers!

Most importantly, everyone was free to join in however they wanted, with no pressure to take part.

There was plenty of music, dancing and laughter at Kington Court as Lyndon returned for his monthly electric violin session.

Music is always a popular part of life at Kington Court, with residents, team members and families able to enjoy the session in their own way, whether that’s dancing, singing along or simply sitting back and listening to the music.
