One year ago, on 7th April, I opened the doors to Kirkburton Eyecare with a simple goal — to provide truly personal, high-quality eye care at the heart of our community.

Today, I’m feeling incredibly grateful as we celebrate our first anniversary.

To every patient who has trusted us with their eye health, recommended us to friends and family, or simply walked through our doors with a smile — thank you. Your support, kindness, and encouragement have meant more than I can put into words.

Building Kirkburton Eyecare has been a passion project from the very beginning. As an independent optometrist, my aim has always been to take the time to listen, to care and to deliver the level of service that every patient deserves. Seeing the practice grow into a trusted part of the local community has been both humbling and rewarding.

I’m also so proud to be part of such a warm and welcoming village. The support from fellow local businesses and residents has made this journey even more special.

To celebrate, Josette and I have arranged some sweet treats in practice on Wednesday 8th April — you are all very welcome to pop in and join us!

This is just the beginning and I’m so excited for what the future holds. We look forward to continuing to care for you and your families for many years to come.
