A little introduction, Kirkcaldy đź‘‹
If you’ve been wondering where Sean Elder Therapies has gone since the move from Guardbridge, I thought it was time to properly introduce myself to those of you who may not know me yet.
I’m Sean, and I’ve been working in massage and therapeutic bodywork for many years, developing a practice that has grown considerably since I started from my home in Leuchars almost six years ago.
I’m now bringing that experience to Kirkcaldy, working from my home studio and from STRIVE on Methven Road.
What I offer goes beyond a standard massage routine.
My work includes therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, soft tissue therapy, Thai-inspired massage techniques, movement and stretching, as well as longer Combination Therapy sessions where I can bring several of these skills together around the individual in front of me. I have also been covering yoga classes at Drip Wellness Studio in town, which has been really great.
The important part for me is that there isn't a set routine that I simply work through.
I want to understand what is going on, what you need, what your body is telling us and what might actually help.
Sometimes that means focused deep tissue work.
Sometimes it means movement.
Sometimes stretching, breath work or a combination of approaches makes more sense.
And sometimes the most valuable part of a session is simply having the time and space to properly work through what's going on.
After years of treating people in Guardbridge, and thousands of individual client interactions, I bring that experience with me to Kirkcaldy.
If you're in Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, central Fife or the surrounding areas and have been looking for an experienced therapist who takes a considered, individual approach to massage and bodywork, I'd be very happy to welcome you.
📍 STRIVE, Methven Road, Kirkcaldy on Wednesday and Sunday

Sometimes knowing where to start is the hardest part.
