# # # 🌱 As I Heal… “You Have Nothing to Worry About”

Recently, I heard intuitively:

**“Are you going to the doctor?”**

And then I heard a child's voice say:

**“God doesn't like messages.”**

At first, I wondered what these words were trying to tell me.

Then something occurred to me…

Perhaps my inner child was still looking for the love, safety and attention that I experienced when I went to the doctor as a little girl.

I was born in 1963, and things were very different then.

We had a family doctor who knew our family. I remember being sat on his knee and being given a lollipop.

Going to the doctor wasn't necessarily something I feared. In some ways, it was a place where I received attention, comfort and reassurance.

When I think about my childhood, there were also so many voices around me telling me what was right and wrong — teachers, priests, relatives and my dad.

Perhaps my younger self learned that the doctor was one of the places where I could feel safe, cared for and listened to.

So when I heard:

**“Are you going to the doctor?”**

I began to wonder whether this wasn't simply about going to a doctor at all.

Maybe some part of me was asking:

**“Are you going back to the place where you felt cared for?”**

And then last night, I heard:

**“You have nothing to worry about.”**

That really made me stop and think.

Could this be the reassurance that my younger self was looking for?

The reassurance that perhaps she had needed to hear all those years ago?

Today, things are very different. We don't generally have that same relationship with a family GP that I remember from childhood. Appointments can be short, doctors are under enormous pressure, and the experience can feel very different.

But perhaps healing isn't about trying to recreate what we had then.

Perhaps it's about recognising what we needed then — and learning how to give some of that to ourselves now.

So I can listen to that little girl.

I can acknowledge that she wanted to feel safe.

I can give her the attention she was looking for.

And I can remind her:

**“You have nothing to worry about.
You are safe.
You are loved.
I am here with you.” ❤️**

Maybe that is what healing is sometimes…

Not finding someone else to give us the reassurance we needed as children, but becoming the safe person for ourselves.

🌱 **As I heal, I learn.
As I learn, I understand.
And as I understand, I can choose something different.**

As I Heal...
Last night, during a meditation, I experienced something that deeply touched my heart.
I saw my dad as a tiny one-year-old boy, happily riding his little tricycle.
It wasn't a still photograph.
It was as though I was watching a short clip from an old home movie.
The remarkable thing is that this would have been around 1927, long before I was born.
Whether this was a memory held deep within my subconscious, a symbolic image, or something more spiritual, I don't know.
What I do know is how it made me feel.
For so many years, my healing journey has involved remembering the father I experienced as a child.
But last night, I was shown a different perspective.
I wasn't looking at the man.
I was looking at the little boy.
The little boy who laughed.
The little boy who played.
The little boy who, like every child, began life innocent.
It didn't change what happened.
It didn't excuse the choices he made as an adult.
But it reminded me that every adult was once a child with their own story.
Healing doesn't always mean forgetting.
Sometimes it means being able to hold two truths at once.
I can acknowledge the pain I experienced…
…and still have compassion for the child my father once was.
That shift doesn't minimise my story.
It frees my heart from carrying only one version of his.
As I continue to heal, I'm discovering that forgiveness and compassion are not about pretending the past didn't happen.
They're about allowing God to gently expand our perspective.
Sometimes healing isn't about changing someone else.
Sometimes it's about seeing with new eyes.
And perhaps that is one of God's greatest gifts.

As I Heal ........Last night, during a practice intuitive scan and the way I witness energy, I'm often shown red bags. If they drop to the left, I understand this to symbolically represent the mother's lineage. If they drop to the right, they represent the father's (masculine) lineage. As they're released, I witness their energetic content rising up to God.
I continued to ask, "What's inside the red bags?" The answer that came through was simple:
"A lot of worry."
It reminded me how often we carry invisible burdens that no one else can see. Sometimes what weighs us down isn't just what's happening around us—it's the worries we've been carrying for far too long. Worry is actually a thought which is future orientated coming from the belief that "something bad is going to happen". The virtue we are learning is having faith and the belief that life is always working for me.
What if, instead of carrying every concern, we gently asked ourselves:
"Is this worry mine to hold?"
Awareness is often the first step toward healing. đź’›

Sometimes God whispers exactly what we need before we fully understand why.
Before I went away on HerSpirit Retreat I intuitively heard "You need to laugh". At the time I didn't realise just how much I needed it.
After going through a breast biopsy - which thankfully came back benign- I had been carrying more than I realised. It was a reminder of how precious life is and how important it is to listen to our bodies, our hearts and to God.
This retreat was such a gift.
I felt truly seen
I felt heard
I felt understood
I felt valued and appreciated
And we laughed - really laughed. The kind of deep belly laughter that lifts your spirit, opens your heart and reminds you what joy feels like. Looking back I can see that these moments of laughter were just as healing as the quiet moments of reflection.
I came home with my heart opened, my energy restored , a renewed sense of purpose. It reminds me that when we feel safe, supported, loved, and free to be ourselves, the conditions are there for transformation.
This experience had reaffirmed why I feel called to support women who have spent years putting themselves last, staying silent, doubting themselves or living with anxiety and overwhelm. Women who long to reconnect with who God created them to be.
Through Medical Intuitive Technique (MIT) I hold compassionate space for women to explore the emotional and spiritual patterns beneath what they are experiencing, so they can rediscover their voice, their confidence and their true identity.
I'm excited for this next chapter and for the women God places in my path.
Sometimes healing begins not with striving but with being seen, being loved, sharing a bellyful of laughter and we don't realise how much we need it. I am deeply grateful for the woman i have become and that I am able to share this with you
