As a doula, I am here to provide you with the physical, emotional and informational support you need throughout your pregnancy, labour, birth and early postpartum period. My role is to empower and guide you through this incredible journey, ensuring that you feel safe, secure and well-cared for every step of the way.
I will be with you from the very beginning, helping you prepare for your baby's arrival through prenatal education, providing resources and creating a birth plan that reflects your desires and preferences. During labour, I will offer various comfort measures such as massage, acupressure, positioning, breathing techniques, and emotional support to help you manage pain and remain calm and focused. I will also advocate for you and your baby within the healthcare setting, making sure that your wishes are respected and that you receive the best possible care.
After your baby is born, I will continue to provide support by helping you learn how to care for your newborn, offering practical advice and emotional encouragement. I can assist with breastfeeding, soothing techniques, newborn care, and postpartum recovery. I will also help you navigate the adjustment to life with a new baby, offering resources and referrals for additional support if needed.
Throughout this process, I will maintain an open, non-judgmental and compassionate attitude, ensuring that you feel heard, valued and respected. My goal is to help you have a positive and empowering birth experience and a smooth transition into parenthood. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
