As it’s Pride Month, we would like to reaffirm our commitment to providing inclusive, non‑judgemental care for everyone in our community.

Our role is to support your s*xual health and well being, and anyone can access our service, regardless of how you identify or whether you are still figuring things out.

We’ve updated our website with a section on exploring your s*xuality. It includes links to trusted organisations if you’d like more information or feel you might want a bit of extra support.

Nordhaven Clinic - Wondering about your s*xuality or gender?

If you live anywhere in Orkney, we can now send STI screening kits to you through the post.

We are currently trialling a mail‑in test kit system for routine, non‑symptomatic screening for chlamydia and gonorrhoea. These are the two most commonly diagnosed STIs in Scotland. They often cause no symptoms, meaning many people may not realise they are infected, but both are easily treated once identified.

To request a kit, please complete the form linked on this page of our website: https://www.nordhavenclinic.co.uk/page1.aspx?p=15&t=1 . It takes around five minutes and includes some personal questions about your s*xual history. This information helps our clinical team provide the correct testing materials and assess your level of risk.

If you are currently experiencing symptoms that may be related to an STI, please attend our Nordhaven Clinic Drop‑In, held Tuesdays from 15:30–17:30.

If these times are unsuitable, please contact reception to arrange an alternative appointment.
