What a wonderful surprise we had today when the beautiful Nala & Doddie came to visit us! 🐶💕

Everyone absolutely loved seeing them, giving them cuddles and, of course, having plenty of time for some lovely petting! 🥰 You could see everyone’s faces light up the moment they walked through the door — they certainly brought lots of smiles, joy and wagging tails with them! ✨

What a lovely afternoon at the Music Café today! 🎶❤️

Spending time in our local community is so important. It gives us the opportunity to connect with others, feel a sense of belonging, and share experiences together. And what better way to bring people together than through music and singing? 🎤✨

Singing can lift our spirits, build confidence, create memories and, most importantly, remind us that we are all part of something bigger. There’s something really special about singing together — no matter our ability, we can all join in and enjoy the moment.

Today was all about smiles, music, connection and being part of our community. What a wonderful way to spend the day! 💕🎵

What a fabulous day we had at Storyville celebrating Betty’s birthday and Edna’s upcoming birthday! 🎉🥳

A huge thank you to George for the fantastic entertainment – you had everyone singing along, smiling, and dancing! 🎶💃 We also want to say a big thank you to all of our amazing staff and the wonderful family members who joined in and helped make the day so special.

The room was filled with laughter, dancing, treasured memories, and plenty of good fun. Days like these are what Storyville is all about – bringing people together to celebrate, create happy moments, and make lasting memories. ❤️

Good morning smiles, movement, and music made for a wonderful day in our home! 💙

We started the day with some armchair exercises, helping everyone gently stretch, improve mobility, boost circulation, and maintain strength and independence. These sessions are so important in a care home, as they encourage physical wellbeing, improve mood, and give everyone the opportunity to stay active in a safe and enjoyable way.

After a lovely lunch, we came together for our monthly church service. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with reflection, friendship, and plenty of joyful singing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed joining in with the hymns, and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces.

A truly lovely day, enjoyed by all! 🪑💪🎶⛪❤️

This is our wonderful Blessing, a valued member of our Care Team here at Storyville!

Blessing has been part of the Kennedy Care family for the last few months and has already become a fantastic addition to our team. Her caring nature, kindness, and positive attitude make a real difference to our residents every day, and we’re delighted to have her with us.

🎶 Fun fact: Blessing has a beautiful singing voice and loves to sing! She is a member of a choir in Dundee and enjoys nothing more than music and a good sing-along.

Somewhere between childhood dreams and a lifetime of memories, there is a place where nothing really changes. Hearts still soften at small treasures, flowers are still magical, and a cuddly friend can still make everything feel a little brighter.
