Calm. Professional. Consistent.

This is why the work matters. Not just relief in the room, but steady, ongoing progress, the kind you get with consistent care, not just a one off fix.

If you're nodding along reading this, that could be you too.

Don’t wait for the burnout to book the session.

This month’s move nearly flattened me, but chiropractic, massage, reflexology and a few cold outdoor swims kept me standing.

Self-care isn’t the reward after the stress. It’s what gets you through it.

What’s keeping you together right now? Tell me below 👇

Have you reached the point where you're so exhausted that even the smallest thing feels overwhelming?

You may be snapping at the people you love, lying awake at 3am, forgetting simple things or wondering why you don't feel like yourself anymore.

I often hear, "I don't know what's wrong with me and I should be coping better."

But what if it isn't about coping at all?

Your nervous system is brilliantly designed to keep you alive. Thousands of years ago that might have meant fighting or escaping a sabre-toothed tiger. Today it might be juggling deadlines, caring responsibilities or opening an email you'd rather not read. Different situations, but your brain can activate many of the same protective stress responses if it perceives a threat.

Your nervous system is constantly asking, "Am I safe?"

It isn't about switching stress off with the click of a button. It's about gradually giving your body opportunities to experience calm, safety and regulation again.

Massage and reflexology are just two of the ways I help people create those moments of safety by supporting the whole person, not just the symptoms that brought them through the door.

If you've been running on empty for weeks or even months, then your body isn't failing you. It's trying to protect you.

If this sounds like you, get in touch and let's have a chat about how I can support your nervous system.

Two years ago, I heard the words, “You have breast cancer.”

Today, I’m here about to go in the water for a swim, feeling incredibly grateful for the things I once took for granted.

Not because every day is perfect. It isn’t.

But because cancer has a funny way of changing what matters.

These days, I celebrate a body that continues to heal, and quiet moments that remind me just how precious ordinary life really is.

If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that our bodies deserve kindness, not criticism. They carry us through far more than we often give them credit for.

So today I’m celebrating two years. Not because I’d ever choose the journey, but because I’m thankful to still be here, doing the things I love.

Here’s to cold water, second chances, and never taking an ordinary day for granted. 💕

You told me. And I'm listening.

I recently asked what you've been struggling with most, and the results are in.

Running on empty. Anxiety/Mood.

Sound familiar?

These aren't small things. They're your body waving a white flag, asking you to slow down and pay attention.

Over the next few weeks I'm going to be talking about both of these, what's going on in your body, and what we can do about it together.

Because wellbeing is more than just coping.

Drop a ✋ if this sounds like you.

Your lymphatic system is working hard for you right now. Here's how to support it.

Puffiness that won't go away. Fatigue that sleep doesn't fix. A heaviness in your body you can't quite explain.

These can all be signs that your lymphatic system needs some support.

Your lymphatic system is your body's built in drainage and immune network. It filters waste, moves fluid and keeps everything running cleanly. But unlike your heart, it doesn't have its own pump, it needs help.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses a precise, feather light touch to stimulate lymph flow, reduce fluid retention and give your immune system a proper reset.

It's incredibly gentle and deeply relaxing. For women recovering from surgery or illness, navigating menopause or simply feeling heavy and depleted it can make a real difference.

I'm thrilled to say MLD is now available at The Balance Smith.

If you are curious whether MLD is right for you just drop your questions below or send me a DM.

There are 34 recognised symptoms of perimenopause. Hot flushes are just one of them.

Joint pain that came from nowhere.
Anxiety that makes no sense.
Sleep that's completely broken.
A brain that won't co-operate.
Along with a creeping feeling that you no longer recognise yourself.

None of this is in your head. None of it is "just getting older." And none of it should be dismissed with a leaflet and a goodbye.

Swipe through, I've covered five of the most common (and most overlooked) ways perimenopause affects your body, and how reflexology can genuinely help.

Save this one. Share it with a friend who needs to hear it.

And if you'd like to talk about how I can support you through this, my DMs are open.

Which one resonated most? Tell me in the comments. ⬇️
