Castle Clinic

Castle Clinic Better Health Starts Here Healthcare is evolving. The majority of our new patients are personally recommended or referred directly from their GP or consultant.

Its focus is moving away from treating a list of symptoms and towards understanding and improving how the body works: how it moves, how it digests, how it sleeps, how it breathes, in order to feel good and be healthy. Our Approach:

With almost 20 years serving the community of Knaresborough, Harrogate and the surrounding villages, our clinic has long been a trusted centre for effective, natural t

reatments. We understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Established in 2004, Castle Clinic offers comprehensive, holistic and effective healthcare, considering your body and mind, from your head to your toes. With our many personalised therapies and an eclectic team of caring practitioners, we believe you will find the right partner to help support you to a life of better health and well-being.

The Friday gang were let out for an hour for good behaviour this lunchtime, so they seized the opportunity for a team lunch at Nørd. Not a bad start to the weekend!

If you’re in clinic this afternoon you’ll be able to follow the match. We’re locked and loaded on Wimbledon. Not sure how much work Hilary is getting done 😂

Wishing Charlotte the best of luck on her promotion. In the next few weeks she will go from being a ‘parent’ to a ‘parent of two’ - same job, same remuneration, twice the meetings and half the sleep! 😅

If you need treatment in Charlotte’s absence, don’t worry. We have the fantastic Louise covering her list again.

A flashback to last week when Seb was invited to speak to the 7–9 year olds at Western School in Harrogate about the human skeleton.

The focus of the session was the rib cage and its remarkable design. The children learned how it protects the heart and lungs, provides attachment points for the muscles involved in breathing, and allows the ribs to move so we can breathe effectively.

Seb also brought along peak flow meters and stethoscopes, giving the children the opportunity to measure how much air they could breathe out in one go and listen to their own heartbeats.

Seb was incredibly impressed by the children’s knowledge, curiosity, and enthusiasm throughout the session!
