Carer Group for Men
Did you know that Wakefield Carers have a Men’s Group?

Carers Wakefield & District Men’s Group brings men together to enable them to speak about the topics that are important to them.

The idea is that men can talk to one another about whatever they like, which provides them with the opportunity to have conversations about their caring roles. Speaking about situations can help get issues off their chest and allows them to express themselves and know that they are not alone. At times this can be challenging but with a group togetherness and other men in similar circumstances to themselves, this can provide support, advice and comfort. They also have fun activities that run throughout the year.

They currently meet on the last Friday of every month, 10:30am-12:00pm at Carers Wakefield and District, 25 King Street, Wakefield, WF1 2SR. Refreshments are provided.

Their next groups are: Friday July 31st, Friday August 28th and Friday 25th September

Please contact them either by phone or email on the information below for confirmation of interest or any further questions, thank you.
