To the beautiful souls in my world, old and new friends, a (re)introduction to me and my business

Atman Healing 🤍
Four years ago, I was burned out.
Not tired — depleted.
Care Coordinator by day. Empty by night.
It wasn't just that I'd lost me.
It was the guilt of snapping at the people I loved when I had nothing left to give. The quiet dread of another alarm clock. Smiling on the outside while something inside kept asking, is this it?
It was showing up for everyone else, every single day — and forgetting what it even felt like to show up for myself.
Lost, who was I anymore?
The essence that made me ME felt like it had disappeared. And the scariest part wasn't the exhaustion — it was not recognising the person in the mirror.
I didn't stop. I reassessed what I wanted.
28 days. No performing, no proving. Just space to sit with the parts of myself I'd been too busy to feel.
And in that space — I found my way back. To Reiki. To breath. To me.
I trained. I studied. I devoted myself to it — and became a 13th-generation Reiki Master Teacher, carrying a lineage that traces back to Mikao Usui himself.
Atman means true self. It's not just a name — it's the whole point.
Now I hold space for others in the Toucoir, my little sanctuary in Knutsford ✨ Reiki. Animal Reiki. AromaTouch. Essential oils crafted to meet you exactly where you are.
My gorgeous Teddy is often right beside me — and this path began, in part, as a tribute to my late dogs, Gordon and Toucan, who taught me what healing through connection really looks like.

With the lists running, my mind sounds like forty tabs open. A hum that never stops. Tomorrow's to-dos. Half-finished thoughts. The next thing before you've even started this one.
Yesterday, I let it fade.
A walk with no destination. Time in the garden, just being. Hands over my heart, a few minutes of self-Reiki, letting my own energy settle.
And what was left wasn't empty. It was the kettle boiling. Birdsong. Space to hear myself again.
Weekend reset. 🌿

Cherry Orchard mornings, hands open wide,
Womanifest calling — you stepped inside.
A blend, a balm, a Purefume made slow,
teaching calm to strangers who'd come to know.
Warrington welcomed you, practitioner and guest,
Winsford's church hall held the summer's reset.
Then quiz night at Dexter's, laughter with Raj,
answers half-guessed and easy as that.
New ink beneath skin, a mark that will stay —
something chosen, something to say.
Teddy the cheese monster, nose to the ground,
finding his calm in the scent he has found.
The garden opened, thirty minutes small,
Reiki among roses, answering the call.
Nominated, noticed, an Overcomer's name —
not for the striving, but for showing up the same.
July asked for presence, for work and for play —
you gave both, unguarded, and called it a day
