I think people sometimes assume that what I do is just about readings. About sitting with someone and bringing through messages.

But there's another side to my work that I hold just as dear.

For several years I was the resident natural healer for Chat it's Fate magazine, writing monthly complementary health advice as an ascended reiki master. It's something I'm genuinely proud of. Because healing the whole person, not just reading for them, has always been part of how I work.

Reiki, energy work, natural healing. These things sit alongside the mediumship in everything I bring to a session. When someone comes to sit with me here in Knutsford, they're not just getting a psychic reading. They're getting someone who understands the body as well as the spirit, the energy around a person as well as the messages that come through.

That breadth is something I've built over a long time and it shapes every single reading I give.

People sometimes ask me what it's really like to give someone a reading they didn't want to hear.

Honest answer? It's one of the most important things I do.

I was featured in The Sun a little while back after warning Michelle Keegan about a situation involving a partner. And what struck me about that story wasn't the celebrity angle. It was the question underneath it. Can you trust a medium to tell you the truth, even when the truth is uncomfortable?

The answer for me has always been yes. A reading that only tells you what you want to hear isn't a reading. It's flattery. My job is to pass on what comes through, even when it takes a breath to say out loud.

The people who have sat with me over the years know this. They come back not because every reading is easy but because they know it's real. That trust means everything to me.

There's something about this time of year that just feels different, doesn't it?

The light has shifted. The air has changed. And I've been noticing such a strong spiritual energy around so many of you lately. A real sense that something is stirring, something is ready to move.

I'm picking up on a lot of unfinished conversations. Things that have been sitting quietly waiting for the right moment. Questions that have been circling without an answer.

Looking back through some of my old press and this one always makes me smile. Chat it's Fate magazine ran a lovely feature on me called "Leading Lights" and it really did capture something special about the work I do.

The article focused on three of my most iconic celebrity spirit guides: Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse and Frank Sinatra. Three extraordinary souls whose energy and passion still shines so brightly. When they come through, there is nothing quite like it.

What touched me most about that feature were the kind words from some wonderful ladies. The brilliant actress Michelle Collins said: "Cara is so accurate it's incredible. She accurately predicted some very personal things happening at the time. I was sceptical and really did not believe in this sort of thing. She turned out to be spot on, amazing, a really genuine medium." Those words mean the world to me, coming from someone who was openly sceptical at the start.

The beautiful Michelle Keegan also had such lovely things to say and I am truly grateful to both of them for their honesty and generosity.

Over the years I have been so fortunate to be featured in so many magazines and publications. Each one is a little reminder of how blessed I am to be doing this work here in Knutsford, helping people connect with those they love.

Looking back through the years, I've been so fortunate to have my work featured in some wonderful magazines and publications. This one holds a very special place in my heart.

Back in April 2013, Spirit & Destiny magazine came to my home in Knutsford, Cheshire and featured me in an article about some of the remarkable connections I'd made during my readings. At that point I had already been working as a professional medium and healer for 23 years, giving readings from home in the beautiful cottage that has always been my spiritual haven.

The article touched on some of the celebrity readings I'd done over the years, including a deeply memorable connection with Amy Winehouse. One of the things I was asked about was the energy in my home. I believe the ley line that runs beneath my cottage genuinely enhances the clarity of the messages that come through. You can feel it in the space. It's something I've always been grateful for.

That feature was just one of many over the decades, each one a little snapshot of a journey I've been on my whole life. I'm so thankful for every person who has trusted me with something so personal.

Looking back, I am so proud to share that a few years ago I was featured in True Life magazine.

The article was called "Friends in high places! These readers have extra-special spirit guides" and I was in a section called "Princess of hearts" alongside the incredible George Michael. It spoke about how I am blessed to have iconic figures including Princess Diana and George Michael as my spirit guides helping me.

I wanted to share it again as a reminder of how this journey has unfolded and how grateful I am for every step of it. It really is such an honour to have these beautiful souls guiding me in my work and I am so grateful every single day for their presence.

Summer is winding down, and so are the last of my extra availability slots.

As clients return from holidays and schedules fill back up, these spaces I have had throughout August will close. I am so grateful to everyone who has reached out and booked in over the last few weeks. It has been a truly special summer for readings and healing sessions.

If you have been meaning to get in touch and kept putting it off, this is your gentle nudge. There are still a small number of slots left before things return to my usual schedule.

People often ask me how I knew this was my calling.

Honestly, I have always known. From a very young age I was drawn to the world beyond the visible, to the energy that connects us all, to the quiet but unmistakable guidance that is available to each of us if we know how to listen for it.

Thirty years later, I am still just as in awe of it as I was at the beginning.

I have had the privilege of working with people from all areas of life, from those going through their most difficult chapters to well-known public figures navigating the pressures that come with a life lived in the spotlight. What unites them all is the same thing. The need to feel heard. To feel guided. To feel less alone in the uncertainty.
