We had a wonderful time at our Summer Fayre at Allt Y Mynyddd on Saturday!
We enjoyed some lovely live music from our wonderful new singer and had plenty of fun throughout the afternoon. Jess even took a turn in the stocks, while our teddy George was won by a very lucky baby! ❤️

We are deeply honoured to share these heartfelt words from the family of one of our residents at Allt Y Mynydd Nursing Home.

Although their mum was only with us for a short time, we are so grateful to hear that our team's kindness, compassion and dedication made an incredibly difficult time that little bit easier. From reassuring words in her final days, to being by her side through the night, to the small gestures that meant the world, our staff went above and beyond to ensure she was treated with dignity, comfort and care.

We were especially touched to hear how our team supported not just their mum, but the whole family too, from checking in, to bringing a sandwich when it was needed most, to a handwritten note and a moment to rest.

At Ashberry Healthcare , we are committed to providing care that comforts, reassures and never leaves anyone feeling alone, for our residents and their families alike.

We are sincerely grateful for this feedback and for the trust placed in our team. It is a privilege to provide care that will be remembered ❤️

We had a wonderful visit from Carl Bryant Music for Health! Our residents loved singing along, tapping their feet, and joining in with the instruments. Such a lovely musical afternoon! 🎶

Last Tuesday, we hosted our Ashberry Staff Awards at Allt Y Mynydd, and the event was a huge success! We did things differently this year, and it was wonderful to have families and residents share the celebration with us 🏆🎉

The event was a heartfelt celebration of the dedication and core values that define Ashberry Healthcare: loyalty, integrity, and compassion. We were proud to recognize long-service achievements ranging from 3 to an incredible 15 years, a true reflection of the remarkable devotion shown by our team.

We also celebrated the Core Values, Employee of the Year, Wellbeing, and Dementia Awareness, and, new this year, an Above-and-beyond Resident-nominated Award. We were delighted to present the Core Values Award to Sarah P, the Employee of the Year Award to Mary J, the Wellbeing Award to Tiffany J, and the Dementia Awareness Award to Richard B L for their exceptional contributions. A very special award, our new Resident Award, went to Oladele K.

Huge congratulations to all our award recipients. Your dedication and heart are exactly what make Allt Y Mynydd the warm, caring home it is.

Yesterday we put our brains to the test by seeing how many words we could make from the letters in the word "counterbalance". Our winning resident found an impressive 48 words, while our winning staff member managed 60. It was a great way to keep our minds active and enjoy some friendly competition! 😊
