An eclipse reminds us that even when the light seems hidden, it has never truly disappeared.

Perhaps today we can simply pause and reflect on what we are ready to release, what we are ready to welcome, and where we might allow a little more light into our lives.

We don’t need to have the whole path figured out.

There is something incredibly special about sharing Reiki with animals.

They don’t ask for explanations. They simply respond to kindness, presence and loving intention. Over the years, working with horses, dogs, sheep, chickens, bees and many other animals has been one of the greatest blessings of my own Reiki journey, and I would love to share this beautiful practice with you.

Whether you wish to support your own animals, help those in your care, or deepen your connection with the animal kingdom, this two-day course will provide you with the knowledge, confidence and practical experience to begin sharing Reiki with animals in a safe, respectful and compassionate way.

Prerequisite:
Usui Reiki Level II or Holy Fire® Reiki Level II.

This is an ICRT Approved Animal Reiki Course, taught in a relaxed, supportive environment with plenty of practical experience and time to connect with the animals.

“You don’t have to be unwell to benefit from Reiki.”

One of the biggest misconceptions about Reiki is that it’s only something to seek when life feels difficult.

In reality, Reiki can also be a beautiful way of supporting your overall wellbeing.

Many people choose regular Reiki sessions simply because they enjoy the opportunity to pause, relax and reconnect with themselves in a world that rarely slows down.

During a Reiki session, there is nothing you need to do.
No expectations.
No pressure.
Just a quiet space to rest while gentle healing energy is shared.

Sometimes people leave feeling deeply relaxed.
Sometimes they gain clarity.
Sometimes they simply enjoy an hour of peace.

Whatever your experience, Reiki offers you the chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life and simply be.

🦋 Good Morning, Beautiful Souls ☀️

Lately, the butterflies have been visiting my little garden more often.

As I watched them dancing from flower to flower, I was reminded that transformation isn’t always loud.

Sometimes it arrives quietly…

In the warmth of the morning sun.

In the gentle tending of a garden.

In the small moments when we pause long enough to notice just how far we’ve come.

Like the butterfly, we all have seasons of becoming.

Some days we rest within our cocoon.

Some days we gather the courage to spread our wings.

And some days…

We simply bask in the sunshine, trusting that life is unfolding exactly as it should.

So today, wherever you are on your journey…

May you notice the beauty that already surrounds you.

May you welcome the gentle changes taking place within you.

And may you remember that you don’t have to rush your transformation.

The butterfly never hurries…

If you share your life with animals and would love to deepen your connection with them through Reiki, or you’re called to extend your Reiki practice into the animal kingdom, this beautiful two-day course offers a gentle, practical and internationally recognised training experience.

Throughout the weekend you’ll learn how to work respectfully alongside animals, understand how Reiki can support their wellbeing, and gain the confidence to offer Animal Reiki in a calm and compassionate way.

🌿 Wednesday Wisdom 🌿

“I’ve never had Reiki before… what actually happens during a session?”

This is one of the questions I’m asked most often.

When you arrive, we’ll spend a few minutes chatting so I can understand what has brought you to the session and answer any questions you may have.

You’ll then lie fully clothed on a comfortable therapy couch, covered with a cosy blanket if you’d like one.

Soft music plays quietly in the background, creating a peaceful space where you can simply relax.

During the treatment, I gently place my hands on or just above different areas of the body. There is nothing you need to do.

Some people feel warmth.

Some notice a deep sense of relaxation.

Some simply enjoy an hour of peace away from the busyness of life.

Every experience is unique, and there is no right or wrong way to experience Reiki.

My intention is always the same…

To offer a safe, calm and nurturing space where you can simply rest and reconnect with yourself.

🌑 July’s New Moon 🌿

The new moon arrives quietly, wrapped in the gentle embrace of Cancer’s nurturing energy.

Tonight, the sky reminds us that not every beginning arrives with fireworks. Some begin as a whisper… a feeling… a quiet knowing that it’s time to come home to ourselves.

The Whimsical Witch tidied her little cottage, lit a candle, poured a warm cup of tea and sat beneath the moon.

She wasn’t asking for a different life.

She was simply asking,

“What part of me is ready to be lovingly nurtured now?”

Perhaps this moon is inviting us to tend to our hearts with the same kindness we offer to those we love.

To rest without guilt.

To trust our intuition.

To create a home within ourselves where peace can quietly grow.

Tonight, you don’t have to have all the answers.

Simply plant one loving intention, hold it gently in your heart, and trust that, like every seed, it will awaken in its own perfect season.

May your home feel peaceful.

May your heart feel safe.

And may this beautiful new moon remind you that every new beginning starts with one gentle step.

One of the questions I’m often asked is…

“Do I have to believe in Reiki for it to work?”

My answer is always the same.

No.

You don’t have to be spiritual.

You don’t have to meditate.

You don’t have to understand energy.

You simply need to be willing to give yourself permission to rest for a little while.

Many people come to Reiki because life has become busy, stressful or overwhelming.

For an hour, nothing is expected of you.

There’s nothing to achieve.

Nothing to fix.

Simply a peaceful space where your body and mind can begin to relax.

Sometimes that’s where healing begins.

“One of the biggest misconceptions about Reiki is that it’s only for when something is wrong.

In my experience, Reiki is also about creating space.

Space to breathe.

Space to rest.

Space to remember yourself beneath the busyness of everyday life.

Sometimes people leave a Reiki session saying,

“I didn’t realise how much I needed to stop.”

In a world that constantly encourages us to do more, perhaps healing begins by simply allowing ourselves to receive.
