Please plan ahead and make sure you have enough medication to cover the holiday period. Your local pharmacy may operate different opening hours than usual.

If you need urgent medical help while your GP practice is closed, call NHS 24 on 111. Please do not attend an Out of Hours centre unless you have been referred.

For life-threatening emergencies, always call 999.

Monday 15 June is a public holiday in Scotland.

Most community pharmacies across Lanarkshire will be open as normal on this date, however a small number will be closed.

Appointments are still going ahead but they will now be at nearby locations.

Unfortunately we are still having phone issues at our Douglas Branch Surgery. All our phone calls are being diverted to Coalburn Surgery. Your call shall be answered by one of our Admin Team there. Sorry for any inconvenience but we are hoping for a resolution to our problem today.
