☀️ Waxing & Sunburn – Please Read ☀️

With the lovely weather we’ve been having, this is a little reminder for anyone with a waxing appointment booked.

If you have sunburn, I cannot wax over sunburnt skin. Waxing sunburnt areas can cause further damage, irritation, and may even remove layers of already compromised skin.

If you’ve been enjoying the sunshine, please take care by applying SPF regularly and covering up where possible before your appointment.

If you do arrive with sunburn on the area due to be waxed, I will unfortunately have to postpone or adapt your treatment for your own safety. Full treatment costs will still apply.

☀️ A Little Hot Weather Reminder ☀️

With the current hot weather, I completely understand that some of you may need to rearrange your appointments.

If you do need to reschedule because of the heat or because you’ve made other plans to do something lovely in this weather, please ensure you do so with plenty of notice and in accordance with my cancellation policy.

Please also bear in mind that this is an exceptionally busy time of year, and if you choose to reschedule, I may not be able to offer another appointment for 4 weeks or more.

Good morning everyone 😊

I’ve had a bit of a scenario at the salon this morning!

A lady arrived for what she believed was a nail appointment while I was actually at a hospital appointment. When she called me, it quickly became apparent that she wasn’t booked into my diary at all, I know this because it's only me who books people in, I do not have a receptionist.

I’m not entirely sure what the mix-up was. It may be that she was booked elsewhere, or someone else has tried to book her in but I haven't had any appointments and they haven't told her.

As many of you know, my diary works on an 8-week rolling basis and appointments are usually booked up 2–3 weeks in advance.
I just wanted to reassure everyone that when you book an appointment with me, particularly if you’re a new client, you will always receive:

✅ An appointment confirmation
✅ A consultation form to complete before your appointment
✅ Relevant treatment information & cancellation policy
✅ Directions to the salon

If someone is booking on behalf of another person, I will always ask for their details so that I can contact them directly and send all the necessary information.
Hopefully this helps avoid any future confusion and prevents anyone making a wasted journey to the salon.

Give me a pat on the back. Eventually updated the price list. These took effect from Mon 18th May. Not all treatments have had an increase. Unfortunately due to massive rises from suppliers and inflation I have had to increase some prices. Thank you for your continued support and custom it is really appreciated. 🥰
