Do you know your numbers? ❤

Week is a great time to get your blood pressure checked - don't wait until you feel unwell.

Millions of adults in the UK are living with undiagnosed high blood pressure, putting them at higher risk of serious illness.

The only way to know if you have high blood pressure is to check it:

❤ While you wait for your appointment - we have blood pressure machines in most of our waiting rooms at the practice
❤ Visit your local pharmacy
❤ Or book your NHS Health Check if you're over 40.

📲💊 Do you order your prescriptions using the MyGP app?

We're aware of an issue with the MyGP App. It's currently setting one pharmacy in Lancaster as the nominated pharmacy, and this cannot be changed. The app is also defaulting to one remote pharmacy for the delivering of medication.

This issue is outside our control and means your prescription may not be sent to your usual pharmacy.

If you use the MyGP App to order medication, please check which pharmacy your prescription is being sent to so you know where to collect it.

We recommend using the NHS App to manage your healthcare online, including for the ordering of medication.

✅ You can control your nominated pharmacy on the NHS App,
✅ As well as medication ordering, the NHS App has useful functionality such as the booking of some types of appointments and viewing your health record, and
✅ We can help you to set the NHS App up, or show you how to use it if needed.
