Neu Way Support offers free early advice, guidance and practical support for children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs, and for the parents and carers supporting them.

This service has been commissioned by Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board and is available to families across Lancashire and South Cumbria. A diagnosis or referral is not needed.

Do you have a child aged 12-23 months?

Our research team are working with the University of Southampton/ uMED to trial the nasal spray flu vaccine in children between 12 and 23 months. The nasal spray is already approved in children aged 2+ years and given each winter.

If your child is eligible to take part, you should have received a text message containing study background information and a sign up link.

It's been a while since our PPG Chair - Steph - held a PPG drop in, due to the main building at Owen Road being closed.

But - she's back this Friday, just in a different location! Steph will be at Rosebank talking to patients, getting your feedback and telling you all about our brilliant PPG!

A huge thank you to all of our patients that came along to our first flu vaccine clinic on Saturday - it was a busy one for our team, who administered over 1,000 flu vaccines and 670 COVID-19 vaccines 😮!

We run a number of sexual health clinics across Lancaster alongside Queen Square Surgery offering STI screening and treatment, peace of mind checks and HIV testing.

✅ IT’S FREE: There are no prescription costs if you require treatment
🔒 IT’S CONFIDENTIAL: The sexual health service keep its own records, which means nothing is recorded on your main GP record
👋 IT’S FOR EVERYONE: We welcome people of all ages with or without symptoms. You don’t even have to be registered with us to access the service.

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients and staff who meet regularly to share ideas and look at how improvements can be made to benefit everyone.

The PPG help to:

✅ Improve services and facilities for patients
✅ Provide feedback
✅ Deliver great initiatives such as patient drop ins and patient training events, and much more!

When and how you get involved is up to you:

📱 As a virtual member of our PPG, you can contribute and provide your thoughts via email, on our PPG Facebook group or via online meetings, or
🧔‍ You can attend meetings in person.
👉 Some people do both!

We welcome everyone, and we're looking for you 👋!

Membership is open to all of our registered patients. The carer of a patient registered at the practice can also be a member of the PPG even if they are not a registered patient themselves.
