At H G King, we understand every life is unique, and so should every service. Earlier this summer, we organised a service for a well-known and much loved man, Gavin. πΉ
The family wanted a direct cremation, no service, no frills. Instead, they wanted to host a celebration of Gavin's life at The Burlington Hotel in Worthing.
We carried out the family's wishes with a direct cremation and helped arrange the service at The Burlington.
It was a relaxed setting, with no rush and no pressure to stick to time limits. Everyone was jolly, of course tears were shed, perhaps tears of happiness for a life well lived.
First time I've ever enjoyed a pint of Guiness at a funeral! Thank you to the O'Brien family for allowing me to play a part in Gavin's service.
