⚽🌍 Bay Court Care Home is getting ready for the FIFA World Cup 2026! 🌍⚽

The excitement is already building at Bay Court Care Home as we look forward to the FIFA World Cup 2026. Residents and staff are eager to come together to enjoy the matches, cheer on their favourite teams, and share in the excitement of one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

From friendly football chats and match-day predictions to themed activities and refreshments, we can’t wait to celebrate the tournament and create wonderful memories together. Whether you’re a lifelong football fan or simply enjoy the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Here’s to great matches, good company, and plenty of goals! ⚽🏆

💃 Ribbon Dancing Fun 🕺🏼

Today our residents and their loved ones enjoyed another wonderful ribbon dancing session, bringing movement, colour, laughter, and plenty of smiles to the day 🫶🏼✨

With ribbons flowing through the air, residents and family members joined in together, creating special moments while taking part in gentle exercise. The session helped support coordination, mobility, and confidence, all while having lots of fun along the way ❤️

It was especially lovely to see families getting involved, sharing in the experience, and making memories together. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves side by side filled the room with warmth, joy, and connection ☺️💕

This morning, residents enjoyed a relaxing and personalised wellbeing session, choosing from soothing 1-to-1 hand massages and the opportunity to try our new portable back and shoulder massage machine 💛

Supporting emotional wellbeing is just as important as keeping active, and today was all about creating a calm, comfortable environment where residents could take time for themselves. These quieter moments offer opportunities to relax, reduce stress, promote positive mood, and enjoy meaningful one-to-one interactions 🧖‍♀️ 😌

Everyone experiences wellbeing differently, so it was lovely to see residents engaging in ways that suited their individual preferences—whether that meant enjoying a peaceful massage, chatting with staff, or simply taking a moment to unwind and recharge ☮️ 🧘🏼‍♀️

A wonderful Sunday morning focused on comfort, choice, dignity, and supporting positive mental wellbeing as we prepare for a new week ahead.
