Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage that encourages the natural movement of lymph fluid through the body.

The lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins and plays a key role in immune function.

MLD is designed to support this system, especially when it’s not functioning optimally due to surgery, illness, or certain medical conditions.

Key Features:

Light, rhythmic strokes: Unlike deep tissue massage, MLD uses very light, precise movements to stimulate lymph flow.
Direction-specific: Movements follow the structure of the lymphatic system to guide fluid toward the nearest lymph nodes.
Used for specific conditions: Often recommended for lymphedema (swelling due to lymph fluid buildup), post-surgical recovery, chronic venous insufficiency, or detox support.
