Wow, Nature Crew that was a full workout in a session! My plans went totally out of the window and we ended up making potions to defeat the ghosts and going on an adventure around the woodland including laying a trail so we didn’t get lost!

The imaginations of these children are just brilliant to be able to play along with. Thankyou for allowing me to join the great ghost hunt adventure and for making sure the Forest School site is safe and ghost free for future groups 👻 👻 👻 🌳 🌲

Heads up for anyone coming to sessions this week as I know change can be tricky for some of us: the big den has been taken down as it was no longer structurally sound. But panic not, we have a very enthusiastic Nature Ed-Venturer who has great plans for the big den’s replacement so watch this space…!

One of the beautiful things about Forest School is watching the site evolve and change. Our structures are not designed to last forever. Our space should adapt and change to meet the needs of different groups and it is exciting to see how people are inspired to add to the site.

MONDAY - NATURE EXPLORERS, home ed 4-12 year olds with their grown ups

TUESDAY AM - NATURE MINDED, child minders with their small people

TUESDAY PM - NATURE TOTS, toddlers/pre-schoolers with their grown ups

TUESDAY PM - NATURE CREW, after school session for children with their grown ups

WEDNESDAY - NATURE SEEKERS, drop off (or accompanied if you prefer) ages 8+

THURSDAY AM - EMBRACED BY NATURE, expectant parents and those with babies under 1

THURSDAY PM - TOGETHER IN NATURE, adult session.

FRIDAY AM - NATURE ED-VENTURERS, drop off session for ages 12+
