🚑 It's been a busy few weeks here at Scot Medical!

Our teams have been out and about supporting communities across the North East of Scotland, providing medical cover at running and cycling events in Fraserburgh, Peterhead, St Cyrus and Stonehaven, as well as a fantastic three-night beer festival in Stonehaven.

Alongside our event work, we've also been busy delivering first aid training courses and our Community Involvement Team has been visiting local groups, giving people the opportunity to explore our ambulances, see the equipment we use, and learn more about the work we do.

The next few weeks are looking just as busy, with teams scheduled to provide medical cover at gala days and half marathons, while continuing to deliver training and community visits.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff and volunteers who continue to represent Scot Medical with professionalism, enthusiasm and commitment wherever they go.

Equestrian First Aid at Work Courses

Our Equestrian Emergency First Aid at Work one day course is aimed at any horse rider to learn basic first aid skills to keep them safe. Horse riding can present different dangers and the course covers most injuries and illnesses that you are likely to come across.
We also have a 3-day Equestrian First Aid at Work (HSE compliant) for those who need a higher qualification to meet the British Horse Society (BHS) requirements.
At the moment we are running a special offer for inhouse group courses, both courses can accommodate up to 12 candidates, Our 1 day course currently costs £384 and our 3 day course £1152.

It was wet, windy and cold this morning up in Fraserburgh covering their half marathon. Well done to the 244 runners who braved the weather.
