It's September... That means Hypno LA is this month!

Coming soon...

I will be opening a new clinic in Hereford!

This is an exciting new chapter as I expand my services into a new location to help the people of Herefordshire to be themselves, feel stronger, and move forward.

I will still have my clinic in Leamington Spa, so no changes with that. This will be an additional clinic in Hereford and I will split my time between the two locations.

Details of the new location in Hereford will be available soon.

One of my favourite places to go for lunch when I have a full day at my clinic. The Bandstand Tea Rooms is just a few doors down from me, so it's easy to go there, but is always worth it for friendly service and tasty food (and carrot cake - it's a weakness).

I recently posted in support of trans rights on all my socials and clarified the toilets situation at my clinic. Sadly, the post on Linkedin led to a pile on from people posting transphobic comments. There were also threatening and libellous comments.

Anyone posting hate comments is simply blocked. I don't have time for people's hate. Certainly not on Linkedin where professional people should know better.

One thing that did bother me is some of the comments were posted by therapists. It shows a real training need and an ethical problem that needs to be addressed by training providers and professional membership organisations.

As for the libellous comments, I'm quite happy to put time into pursuing people who make false claims about me. I have started doing that this morning.

I take my profession and the work I do very seriously.

I take being a trans ally very seriously.

My support for trans people will never waver.

My therapy services will continue to be kind and inclusive.

Toilets... Big topic at the moment following the recent introduction of transphobic guidance on which toilets trans people can use.

These are the toilet signs at my clinic in Leamington. Everyone is welcome in either toilet.

There's no discrimination here.

And I'm gonna keep saying this...

Trans women are women.
Trans men are men.
Non-binary people exist.
Trans rights are human rights.

It really is that simple.

And remember... Businesses have a choice over whether they implement the guidance or not. It is not law. Businesses can choose to reject the guidance and continue being inclusive.

To every beautiful, wonderful trans person... You can keep on using whichever toilet is for you. Your rights are still protected in legislation. Nobody can police which toilet you use. You can still report discrimination and hate if someone tries to stop you using a toilet.

There is work going on here in Warwickshire, which I'm supporting, to highlight businesses that are not discriminating against trans people. I will share the list as soon as it's available.

My clinic is a safe space. I see a lot of trans clients. I'm always here for you as an ally. All therapists should be. Sadly some are not. That needs to change. But I definitely am.
