that provides residential Care for the elderly
We pride ourselves on offering a highly professional care service for the elderly with a personal touch. We accept the residents for a long term, Short term, for convalescence and holiday stays. We aim to provide our residents with a secure, relaxed and homely

environment in which their care, well-being & comfort are of prime importance. The home is purpose built with 31 single bedrooms with 5 en-suite facilities. The home employs around 35 staff and staff are selected for their qualities of reliability, integrity, skill, friendliness, professionalism, qualifications and experience.

We recently had a memory bear made for one of our lovely residents who sadly lost her husband, who was also a resident of ours.

We enlisted the help of a local lady/business who made this wonderful bear made from the gentleman’s clothes, complete with his specs too! It is very much a cherished item now and we just wanted to say a big thankyou and to recommend the lady in question Keepsakes Lovingly Made

We’re delighted to share that this week we’ve taken delivery of a large number of new profiling beds and have already started replacing standard beds throughout the home.

Over the next few weeks, you may notice a new bed in your loved one’s room.

These beds are a fantastic addition to The Warren. They can be adjusted to support different positions, helping residents to sit up comfortably, improve mobility, reduce pressure on joints and skin, and make everyday activities such as eating, reading or getting in and out of bed that little bit easier.

They also make a huge difference for our care team, allowing them to provide safer, more dignified care while reducing the physical strain of supporting residents. It’s a positive investment that benefits everyone.

At The Warren, we’re always looking for ways to improve the comfort, safety and quality of life of those who live with us, while ensuring our team has the equipment they need to deliver the very best care.

As many of you know, The Warren has been providing care for many years, and like any well-loved building, it needs a little extra care from time to time.

Over the coming months, we’ll be carrying out a variety of improvement and maintenance works throughout the home. This includes essential repairs to parts of the building, general upkeep, and maintenance to our heating system to ensure everything is ready for the colder months ahead.

Unfortunately, this means things may look a little untidy at times, and you may notice contractors around the home. Please bear with us while we complete these important works.

We’re committed to keeping disruption to an absolute minimum, and the comfort, safety and wellbeing of our residents will remain our top priority throughout.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support as we continue to invest in keeping The Warren a safe, comfortable and welcoming home for many years to come.

🍦☀️ What a perfect way to cool down during last week’s heatwave!

Our residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Dan’s Delights Ice Cream Van on Thursday, with everyone treating themselves to a delicious ice cream in the sunshine. 🍦😊
