🚒🎉 What a fantastic time we had at Rawdon Fire Station Funday! 🎉🚒

We had such a lovely day out enjoying everything the funday had to offer. There was lots to see, plenty to do and lots of lovely things to buy, with something for everyone to enjoy! 🛍️🍰🎈

It was wonderful to soak up the atmosphere, have a wander around the stalls and enjoy being part of such a brilliant local community event. ❤️

A huge thank you to Rawdon Fire Station and everyone involved in organising such a fantastic day. We had a brilliant time and are already looking forward to the next one! 👩‍🚒🔥

Today we’re celebrating a very special milestone as Pat and Terry mark an incredible 55 years of marriage! 🥂✨

Fifty-five years of love, laughter, memories and sharing life’s wonderful moments together — what an amazing achievement! 💕

Everyone at Weavers Court would like to wish you both a very happy anniversary and many more wonderful years together. 🥰

Meet the Team

Care Assistant, Chloe

Chloe loves working at Weavers Court because she finds it so rewarding to care for and support each resident as an individual.

She enjoys getting to know each resident’s unique personality, interests and life experiences, and building meaningful relationships along the way. Chloe particularly loves spending time chatting with residents and hearing about the stories and experiences they share.

For Chloe, it’s the little things that make a big difference — whether that’s providing support, having a friendly chat or simply spending quality time together.

Although care can be challenging at times, Chloe feels proud to be part of a team that genuinely cares about the residents and their wellbeing.

We’re so pleased to have you as part of the Weavers Court team, Chloe!

The Best of British 🇬🇧🍽️

What a fantastic evening at our Best of British Pop-Up Restaurant! 🎉

We had a full house and it was a huge success! Our guests enjoyed a delicious steak pie supplied by The Pie Collective with chips and peas, followed by a choice of sticky toffee pudding with custard or ice cream. 🥧🍟🍨

The atmosphere was wonderful, with everyone enjoying good food, great company and a lovely afternoon together. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to all our wonderful supporters for your continued support. It means so much to us!

We’re already looking forward to our next pop-up! 🇬🇧✨

A Lovely Day at Weavers ☕🎂🎶

We started the day with our coffee morning, enjoying a cuppa, a slice of delicious cake and plenty of lovely conversation. ☕🍰❤️

We then put our memories to the test with a fun Guess the Famous Person quiz — lots of great guesses and a few surprises along the way! 🧠⭐

This afternoon we got moving with Moov and India, enjoying an energetic and fun-filled session. 💪🎶

Another fantastic day filled with friendship, laughter and activities for everyone to enjoy! 💜

Yesterday afternoon we had a trip out to Kirkstall Abby Museum.
Despite the rain we had a wonderful afternoon.
The museum holds a wealth of artefacts from our bygone age.
We were overwhelmed with the size of the building and everything it holds.
Sure it brought back a memories for our residents who lived alongside a lot of the shops, goods, toys and games 🥰
As always, we have a million photos to share.

Care Assistant, Linda

Linda joined Weavers Court in October 2022 and is one of our original team members, having been here since we first opened our doors.

Linda loves working at Weavers Court because of the wonderful relationships she has built with the residents. To her, they are so much more than the people she cares for — they have become a very special part of her life.

Seeing their smiles, sharing their stories and knowing she can make a positive difference to their day is what makes Linda’s role so rewarding. She feels incredibly proud to be part of the Weavers Court family and treasures the special connections she has made with the residents over the years.

🌸 A Wonderful Morning at Weavers Court 🌸

We’ve had a lovely morning here at Weavers Court. ❤️

We started the day with our monthly church service from St John’s Church. It was a beautiful opportunity for our residents to come together, enjoy some quiet reflection and spend time in familiar surroundings with our wonderful church visitors. 🙏⛪️

We then enjoyed a little relaxation and pampering when Calub came along to treat our residents to some lovely holistic foot massages. 🦶✨ There were plenty of smiles as everyone sat back, relaxed and enjoyed some well-deserved TLC.

A peaceful and relaxing morning filled with friendship, comfort and a little bit of pampering. 💕🌿
