🚤 A Wonderful Day Out on the Canals! 🌿

What a lovely day we had out on the canals! We enjoyed a delicious lunch, relaxed and took in the beautiful scenery — all while taking things at a slower pace and enjoying ourselves on “canal time ⏱️,” as the saying goes. 💙

With perfect weather, some of our residents even had a go at steering the barge, under the watchful guidance of the wonderful volunteers from the Safe Anchor Trust.

There was plenty of fun, laughter and wonderful memories made along the way. A fantastic day enjoyed by all! 😊🚤🌞

💝 A Heartfelt Thank You to Loreen! 🧸

We would like to say a very special thank you to our wonderful community friend, Loreen, who kindly donated these beautiful handmade teddy bears for our residents and clients living with dementia. 🧸❤️

Each teddy has been lovingly handmade by Loreen, and we truly appreciate the time, care and kindness that has gone into making these special gifts. They are not only adorable, but also provide something soft, comforting and familiar for our residents to hold and enjoy.

For people living with dementia, meaningful and comforting items can bring a sense of familiarity, reassurance and joy. These lovely teddies will hopefully bring plenty of smiles, cuddles and happy moments to those who receive them. 🥰

It is gestures like this that remind us how special and supportive our community can be. We are incredibly grateful to Loreen for thinking of our residents and clients and for sharing her time and wonderful creativity with us.

Thank you, Loreen, for your kindness, generosity and for putting so much love into each teddy. 💕🧸

A Night at the Yew Tree Arms 🍻🎤

Down at the Yew Tree Arms, we enjoyed a good old get-together as we transformed our lounge into a pub for the night! 🍺

There was a fun-filled pub quiz, plenty of karaoke, lots of laughs, singing and, of course, plenty of good chatter. 🎶😂

A fantastic evening spent together, enjoying great company and creating some wonderful memories! ❤️
