A little reminder to notice and find joy in the little things in life.

I woke up Saturday morning with an urge to fill my day with a hike and probably a long drive to go with it. I started with a 10am yoga class and from then something switched inside me, I came out of class feeling happy, so I decided not to make plans. I seen advertised a local artisan market so I decided to go there and do a walk after, I ended up in the woods noticing everything and just appreciating all of it, to then stumbling across a cute deer in the path and stroking some big baby cows 🥹
This day wasn’t anything special it wasn’t packed with adventure but it was peaceful and perfect and a gentle reminder we don’t always have to have big plans or be doing big instagramable expeditions to find joy and peace. I felt the most peaceful I’ve felt in a long time 🥰

Here’s a simple breathing technique you could try and see if it changes your day and the way you look at things too -

Inhale threw your nose for the count of 4, hold for 4 counts, exhale with a sigh threw your mouth for 6 counts.

Do this as many times as you feel you need to, then open your eyes to a new world in HD and just look around and appreciate, even better done in nature 🌿

Some of the beautiful flowers are starting to bloom in the garden 🌺

When I had the vision for the cabin I wanted to have a blooming flower bed with a cottage garden theme to it with lots of colour and life to it, so when you walk in it’s a beautiful experience from nature and your chosen treatment 🌼💕
