Millions of women in England are to be offered HPV self-testing kits as the new service rolls out from today.

The kits will be offered to those who haven’t attended cervical screening following previous invitations, providing a discreet and convenient way to test for high-risk HPV at home.

Learn how to protect your eyes whilst watching the partial solar eclipse!

We probably shouldn’t have to say this, but don’t look directly at the sun. Looking directly at the sun without the right protection can cause permanent damage to your eyesight – so you need to take care. Remember, your normal sunglasses may look great, but they won't cut it.

Patients in Leeds have had their say in the lastest GP patient survey and we are pleased to announce that Lofthouse Surgery have been named as one of the 15 practices in Leeds with the most helpful receptionists!

As the front door to the NHS, our Care Navigators are often the first point of contact for our patients. Every day they work tirelessly to answer calls, respond to enquiries, book appointments, signpost patients to the most appropriate services, and provide reassurance and support with kindness, patience and professionalism.

Their role is not always easy, but their dedication to helping our patients access the right care at the right time makes an enormous difference to our practice and our community.
