Mother's Day is an occasion which is celebrated in various parts of the world to express respect, honour, and love towards mothers. The day is an event to honour the contribution of mothers, acknowledge the efforts of maternal bonds and the role of mothers in our society. AS Care would like to wish our carers, service users and their families a Happy Mother's Day

March 8th marks the International Women's Day. The day began to be celebrated when 15,000 women marched through New York City calling for shorter hours, higher pay, and the opportunity to vote in 1908. A year later, the first National Woman's Day was proclaimed by the Socialist Party of America.
