My time in dentistry has come to an end.
I actually fell into the profession by accident. I thought I was going for an interview to become a wall and floor ceramic tiler at RW Ceramics in Pudseyโฆ somehow I walked out on a completely different path!
Richardโฆ thank you for having faith in me all those years ago. And at the same timeโฆ sorry for being a bit of a dick at times. ๐
To all the incredible people Iโve met throughout this crazy professionโฆ dentists, technicians, suppliers and friendsโฆ thank you. The opportunities, including travelling abroad and working with some of the very best in the industry, are memories Iโll always treasure.
Dentistry has been good to me, but itโs also been a long, hard graft. Everything I achieved came through hard work, determination and doing my best to provide for my family.
Could I have achieved more? Probably. Life throws hurdles in your way sometimes. But looking back, Iโm incredibly proud of what I did achieve.
After 39 years, I retire as a Registered Dental Technician.
Well proud. โค๏ธ
Now itโs time for a completely different chapterโฆ
Next stopโฆ my local garden centre. Working outside in the sunshineโฆ and the Yorkshire rain! ๐๐
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. Itโs been one hell of a ride.
